This video is NSFW, has nothing to do with technology and, aside from us thinking this is really damn cool, we had no real reason to post it. :cool:

Sad that they decided not to do something like this for the Doom movie... but I guess there is hope for something similar :)
 
I was watching the vid with a smile on my face going, "hell yeah, I'll play this".
 
And just wait till we get this level of realism, then the murder simulator people might get a leg to stand on.
 
hah that was pretty damn cool.

I forgot i had pandora on but muted. When i played the video and unmuted, and Dirty Thirty by Crystal Method was playing as i watched. Thought it was part of the video..
 
I wasn't all that impressed. So this is going to try to be a movie of sorts or a short film? Going to make a lot of people motion sick. I couldn't even handle it toward the end and I don't get motion sick.

Also, false advertising.

It's a full length movie that is done. Now they're crowdfunding for the polishing (wire removal, CGI, background, music, etc.)

Well, they did... for like a scene... no where near as action packed though.
 
Interesting.

My question is, why is the Englishman using a PPSH instead of a Sten?
 
First off the only pro way to do a shotgun kill is to get way up close so you get max damage.

Second, % headshot was like in the single digits.
 
Both videos on the page are amazing.
 
Regarding the PPSh-41, seeing as how the movie seems to be inspired by games and (obviously) has some kind of time travel aspect, I don't think it'd be too much of a stretch to just think he might have simply picked it up during the movie from another guy who had it.
 
I can deal with FPS-POV films in *small* doses. Like Freddie Wong short, or Doom movie short. And this was way too long.

But I did like the Wilhelm jack-in-box kill in the stairwell.
