This is actually something I would buy. I got the fitbit in an attempt to auto log my workouts and they stink! I hope this is much better.

I was very excited about this until I saw it wasn't water resistant (only splash resistant). Oh well, will be sticking with my Pebble until someone manages to make a better watch that is actually waterproof. I started wearing a watch when I was 14 and working at a water park, it's way too late for me to actually remember to remove a watch before showering or swimming.

Yea I have to say I'm kinda interested in this thing. I also want to see how the apple watch plays out though. This thing seems like it could be good though.

Yea that was the big negative I saw about this. I want water resistant as well. It doesn't need to be for swimming but I want to be sure it can survive a bad rain storm or shower(I ride a motorcycle so getting rained on isn't an if but when). Same with it getting soaked washing hands or something. I'd like at least a 3 meter water resistance.

Paul Thurrott's impressions on the band were a little more level headed. We'll see if $200 for a very limited device that can't even show you the time without tilting your head is going to have any staying power.
