Better Deal? Titanfall $10 via Amazon.

Link not working for me, but you can just search Amazon for it and 10 bucks for PC download. Still on the fence about buying this, I'm not much for multi-player only.
 
I bit, only 10 bucks. I won't use it anytime soon but might as well get it while its cheap.
 
Wow, nice deal but I def won't have time to play this with all the games coming out in the next 2 months.
 
Nice just picked this up for 10..To bad I don't have the room to install it .. Going to have to Buy a bigger SSD ..
 
Was just playing with a buddy and there were 1,600 players in the horde mode. 400 in Attrition mode. and 150 or so in Hardpoint. There are other modes, but I didn't remember the numbers. All matches we signed up for were populated really fast.
 
Thanks OP, I have been wanting to purchase this game. I had it on the XB1, but did not care for it. I played the free weekend, and fell in love with it on PC.

Same way I felt about Destiny on the PC, played it for about 2 hours on PS4 and realized it would be so much better on PC, so I'll wait for rumored PC version in March or so.
 
Played my first game after the lengthy training did a Co-op game it's really fun plugged in a PS4 controller on my 27" console monitor. Did all 5 waves without much problem I like absorbing the amo and letting it back at the Titan. The only thing it says co-op is limited not sure what they mean.
 
Still available select Instant Access to buy it and it will automatic add to your Origin in library that is all to it.

Just bought it.

No shit? Thanks just snagged it. That statue looks tight in the collectors edition but not $380 tight. :rolleyes:
 
Thanks OP, already have it for xbox one, but prefer for pc. Having $15 in amazon credit didnt hurt either

Tempted but Amazon and Metacritics user reviews pretty much say it gets boring and repetive after a few hours.

Supposedly they are patching in some sort of co-op mode, but not sure what all it will entail.

Tempted to pick this up but I'm not sure when I would play it, or who with.

that's the reason I never bought it...the beta was crazy fun for 5 days or so but I realized I would get burnt out quick...but for $10 it's worth it even if it does get repetitive...it's probably repetitive in the same way CoD is, but some people love it and play it for years

This is a blast to play, and in a small way reminds me of Unreal Tournament.
 
I have been playing all day, it's quite a bit of fun in game mode Frontier Defense. So many people bashing the game, not sure why.

Because you just started playing it and it still has the new car smell. Give it a few days and you'll understand why "so many are bashing it". Its a sugar high game, it starts out big and then you crash because there's no depth and little reason to keep playing.

In fairness though maybe the new co-op horde mode is fun, and for $10 may be worth it for that alone. But the regular MP is pointless after about 10-20 hours.

so I'll get 10-20 hours of entertainment for $10....well worth it IMO, even if i play it for a couple of days and never touch it again.
 
Can you you play against bots only? I dont really care for multi player anyway and dont like dealing with people in games.
 
Also, I'd like to know if this game is any good without expansion packs. $10 is fine but if I have to spend another $25, then I will not even consider it.
 
I have been having fun with it. Might even pick up the expac if it goes on better sale. It's worth 10 bucks that's for sure.

That more or less describes every online shooter I've played since COD4: MW. BF3 was the only FPS since that has came close to holding my attention for more than a few months. There just comes a point doing the same things over and over lose their appeal I guess lol.

Destiny I think has a chance for some replay value in the 2-3 month span, but mainly because its more of a co-op, RPG/lootgrab hybrid.
 
the annoying part of Titanfall was the huge number of bots in the game...would have been much better with only human players in the maps
