Figured that someone might like to see a gaming PC being built. :)

All to stream world of warcraft lol. So jealous that these people do this for a living

bah nvm, thought OP was building... turned out to be some random hack.

lol 2 r9 295 video cards for world of warcraft. does wow even support 4 way crossfire?

lol. lets stream building a $10K pc when we have no idea how to build a watercooling system...the chat is building the pc at this point.

Doing triple 4K screens. AMD cards are really good at 12k is the reasoning I suppose.

I don't claim to know everything or be the best at pc building...
but I can't watch anymore of this. Think this dude bit off WAY more than he can chew.

$10k, seriously?

I recently built a similar system, Lian Li case instead of Corsair, and 2x Geforce 980s instead of the R9 295s and no custom lighting, and I spent half of that (the same cpu, mb, ram, hd, power supply, and the amount of fans).

I understand his video cards are more expensive, but even then and custom lighting, I just can't see them being $5k+ more expensive.

Good god this is cringe worthy, he'll probably make his money back on viewers alone.

$10k and a 900D...Why? For that much money get a CaseLabs case or Mountain Mods, or one of the expensive Silverstone TJ cases.

I started to watch it but all I saw was some persons butt in my face... ew, no thanks... even if it was a chick that's a little too plump for my tastes...

vicky is hot as hell. But its idiotic. I've now seem streamers make asinine amounts of money. More power to them but god damn.

So, this guy is building the computer in his bedroom?

To heat some tubing he has to run to the kitchen, and run back before it cools?

What? His mother won't let him work in the kitchen?

Lame.

Case should be a Phanteks Enthoo Primo.

I only see around $3k worth of computer, the other $7k was spent on completely stupid shit for a gaming rig.

7 hours later it's still not finished, there is no T loop for the water cooling, and some EVGA card was installed rather than a R9 295x2.

More money then brains obviously. And is this guy building it for someone else? Would love to see them ship a $10k assemble computer.

As said, i don't see $10k in parts at all..

7 hours. That is insane. They clearly have an internet connection. It's not hard to go to Youtube and find one of the hundreds of computer building tutorials to watch. How dumb are they? I'd hate to see how long it would take them to build an actual complicated system.

Very. I am gonna LOL when he fry's that machine.

I told him in chat to leak test it and actually got a response from him. 20 minutes later the swiftech pump appears to be leaking and he's blaming frozencpu.

Yeah, this dude is an idiot. He's having trouble with the water cooling setup and is blaming the problem on FrostyTech.....sure there buddy.

Waaaaaaiiiiit. This guy is offering to build PCs for others? This is just bad advertisement for him LOL.

Either we are being punked or this guy is a the biggest moron ever.

I thought twitch was used solely for playing video games, if he's been building a PC for 7 hours he's not following the rules and can be banned.

He keeps saying "what are you gonna do, what are you gonna do?"

Stop, would be my first thought.

Many of the more populated streams now are just women with low-cut shirts acting stupid. I feel bad for the idiots giving them thousands of dollars in donations.

It's like watching a train wreck. And what does it have in it that brings the total to 10k?

Watched about 10 mins of the show, most to see if he will fry it. That man should never touch the inside of a computer.

*edit*

And he is going to have to redo the loop to include the 295's. So most of the time he spending screwing around with the loop is going to be wasted.

3,000$ for the graphics cards
400$ Power Supply
400$ Memory
1,000$ hard drives
1,000$ CPU
500$ Motherboard
300$ Case
120$ Fans
85$ Radiator

So that's a little under 7K total. probably another 3k for monitors, operating system and accessories.

I don't get why Alan is building a 10k PC for WoW of all games. Maybe Blizzard sponsors him and we know Twitch partners are not required to disclose their sponsors to streamers (yet...) so I bet he had some serious "help". Intel is very generous for instance with giving up hardware for those that are willing.

Alan and Vic both however have had some of the funniest streams on Twitch I've ever experienced. Especially when Vic is drunk reading their Amazon list for the week.

They are building the PC for one of their subscribers. Basically the guy sent them the money and told them to build it for him.

stopped watching after 10 minutes when he realized that a part was too large to fit the case.

Then I would be angry as hell, that guy should be nowhere near watercooling.

People who watch these streams know the people can be dumb asses, presumably the person having the rig build did it for the attention / to feel like part of the stream.

I only watched a couple minutes and it looked like nothing was happening so I watched something else.
