Well usually you have to shoot it for like half an hour, so it takes awhile to get started, but these guys just annihilated it.
 
I bet the devs were thinking the boss would be so bad-ass if it just stood there taking hits, like "your bullets are mere nats" but then forgot some basic maths to take this into account. Now we'll see a patch that makes it mandatory 30 minutes, no matter how strong you are... why the devs don't just put a big-ass countdown timer on each level, starting at 60 minutes, and just have the players sit and stare at it... seems that would be just as fun?

There's still a lot playing it. Give it a few months and then come back with that comment. It will be much more relevant when the grind has finally become sickening.

I'm totally sick of it. I don't know if I have it in me to even "finish" this stupid game.

Boss is a 2phase fight. he runs around shooting shit for a bit, 3 people get ported to another room, fight some other stuff, pick up a "relic", came out of a portal, relic is used to buff everyone else to hit boss harder, etc etc.

The faster you get the relic out of the portal area the longer the boss is "frozen" there to be hit. A normal rotation only give you 5-10 seconds to hit the boss, and its expected that you get 15-25% of his health down, then have to do the rotation again.

Just like most "end" bosses, its not really "him" you're worried about it, its some random mechanic or adds that are the "hard" part.

Raids in most games are kinda shitty in that respect.

Best raid fight ever was Kael'Thas 25man (unnerfed) in TBC of WoW, imo. Perfectly tuned, four phase fight that required exquisite execution by all raid members.
 
WOW they got some nice gear after the Boss =) Make me want to try if they have public grouping.
 
What's up with the embedded videos not having controls. kinda annoying not being able to control volume or speed.
 
We did not see this till today on our site. YT changed up their share code, we are fixing the videos now with the proper code for controls.
 
They just don't make games like before. I use to die like 10 times before betting the final boss and the really sad part is i'm not that old. ex crysis, mechassault, gears of war, god of war, kotor, halo 2, list your own
 
Toward the end of WoW vanilla we used to beat Ragnaros before the "sons" phase, so less than 60 seconds IIRC.
