Livestream for GN 4

Meh... So far, more pixels, better camera, processor is slightly faster than last year. I want to see real world battery life. I hoping for something cool from motorola. They really had some new stuff going on last year with the always on listening and active notifications. Rumors are of a bluetooth skip that keeps your phone unlock when its near. That is something I would actually use!

Yea their is still lots of stuff that hasn't been announced but so far it looks like a worthy upgrade from my Xperia Z1.

I think ill pass on the Galaxy Note Edge and the once again "fashionable" Galaxy Gear", what was Samsung thinking?

Samsung claims the new S-Pen supports Tilt and Rotation! These features were only found in highest end Wacom devices! (Top of the line Intous and Cintiq)

The addition of Tilt and Rotation is as significant as the pairing of a 3-axis gyroscope to 3-axis accelerometer! With Tilt and Rotation, it is now possible to fully simulate a pen/brush experience on a digital screen as all the degrees of freedom are now covered.

I was really hoping MS would introduce Tilt and Rotation to the Surface 3, but I'm guessing Wacom doesn't want the Surface to eat into their ultra expensive Cintiq line. This is probably why Wacom allowed the Note 3 to have tilt and rotation since a 5.5" will never compete against the much larger Cintiqs.

Well with the abysmal Xperia Z3 letdown I think the Note may be my next phone

I disagree. The Z3 and the Z3 Compact look nice, not gimmicky, and love that stereo!

If I didn't already have a Surface Pro and, most importantly, had the Note 4 been able to connect to a PC turning itself into a PC Wacom input device, it would have interested me more. What's the use of that level of Wacom input when it cannot be used for "real" graphic work? Do you really need tilt just for jotting things down on OneNote or Evernote?

I don't have time to watch the stream, but very excited for more info on the Note4! Unless they screw something up horribly, I'll probably be upgrading to N4 next spring. I'm just glad they haven't decided to get rid of the stylus for some reason; glad to see they're making a few improvements.

The only other thing I really want to see is front-facing speakers on the N4. Please tell me it will have those!!

And my only other major concern is that increasing the screen resolution will hurt performance and battery life too much. I really didn't have a problem with the N3 1080 at all. I just hope the performance cost doesn't outweigh the IQ gains.

Oh man, that would be so awesome! Hopefully that functionality will be added. I would love the ability to use my Note as input for PC Photoshop & Flash etc.

It sadly wont, it will be on the back like the S5. I don't understand putting speakers on the back anymore. It either needs to be on the bottom or front

Is there any phone that can be used for that purpose? I would be very interested in buying a phone specifically for that capability.

That would have weird usability issues. Better just to remote into your PC with the pen enabled device.

Is there even a RDP client that sends pressure sensitivity, etc, back to the PC/server yet? Let's talk about usability issues...

How hard would it be for Samsung to transform the Note 4 into a wacom cintiq alternative? Is there a licensing agreement with Wacom to not do it, or is there an android restriction of not being able to make the device into an input device?

I would imagine that the latency would be atrocious to be even usable

Just found an app that does it called VirtualTablet but apparently it's pretty buggy. It's still in it's infancy though so I have high hopes. I'm extremely surprised this hasn't been done already.
