Does anyone know if current AIO watercoolers that fit 2011 will they also work with 2011-3? Looking at getting the Nepton 280L specifically.

yes all cooler are compatible, the socket its the same but are connected electrically different but that only matter with the CPU the coolers will fit without problems.. and instead of the 280L pick the Glacer 240L its better than the 280L its a cooler that practically are alone in their own league with the Swiftech H220X.

Thanks. To me after doing a lot of research the performance of the Nepton and the Glacer are within 1%. I have read a lot of reviews on the Glacer about pump failures within the first 120 days so I am kind of shy pulling the trigger for the Glacer. For me the Nepton appears to be more stable as it has a better pump so I am willing to pay $20 more just for the sake of having a better pump. I don't argue that the Glacer is probably a better AIO but I am kind of leery judging by all of the failures that I am seeing.

well yes, if you search in the internet you will find people with issues for every cooler in the market, because its people with issues which post things in internet, you will not find people posting every month "hey my cooler its still good" XD XD things like that.. anyway yes, the 280L its closer to the 240L by purely physics greater surface area with better fans.. but the 240L have a better pump, a better radiator(copper/brass vs aluminum in the 280L), uber noisy fans at full blast(nothing you can't fix with better fans later =D), greater integrated reservoir, but the thing its that its expandable.. so you can add a GPU to the loop and you still will be fine which its the biggest plus in that cooler.. you can also check for the swiftech H220X which its the closest thing to a custom water loop..

You make some good observations. Maybe I should give the Glacer a shot. I don't think I would ever use the expandable option though. If I were to expand to GPUs I probably would build a custom water loop instead of going with an AIO.

thats the good thing at the first moment yo change it to expand, it become a custom loop(specially the h220X which use a true custom pump integrated in the radiator).. they are which are know as do it yourself kit.. are closer to Custom loops than All in one sealed water kit.. anyway both will work flawless you can't go wrong with neither..
