This past weekend, I toasted my nvidia evga 460. Somehow.

I need a replacement fast, have a replacement video card, but constantly crashes. I'm not looking for anything spectacular, but something better than the 460 at a reasonable price. Budget around ~$150, but prefer less if the cards performance is better than the price tag. If I can buy a card for below ~$100 and beats the performance of a series card above or near ~$150 with dual DVI that'd be awesome.

Needs to have dual DVI inputs...

I've looked at the EVGA 750 TI, but it's dual link.. and newegg isn't really helpful on providing information for a dual link cable connection for dual monitors. All dual link cables I've found are single connections.

On another note, just not a fan of EVGAs fan/heatsinks... they almost always run hot, but EVGAs warranty program is great.

Found this, but I'm not techy anymore. lol. I'm a needy student and need something quick like. Bestbuy has a PNY 630 in stock for ~$80, but its bestbuy, but its also local...

This is nice, but... I don't know.

If you have a $150 or less budget and you don't mind used there is no better value right now than 79xx cards. Miners are dumping them for cheap. 7950's can be found less than $130 often on ebay. If you're fortunate you can find a 7970 under $150 as I did. Many/most of the 79xx series is dual dvi. A 7950 will run circles around anything else you'll find under $150 and certainly be an upgrade from your 460

That sounds like a heck of a deal. Thanks for that input, but I really need CUDA for any future system. To render CAD projects. Perhaps I should drop my budget on the video card to less than ~$100, the EVGA 01G-P3-1366-TR did well for what I used it for. I guess I'll have to figure out something.

I built this system in 2008, so it's about to become a hand-me-down or something. I have no need, or desire, to upgrade until Skylake comes out.
