IMHO it's a very interesting design with clean exterior :)
Altough i'm not a huge fan of LianLi prices and this should cost around 149USD

If they wanted to keep 200 mm GFX length they could have made it with a TFX or some 1U flex PSU. The storage options are impressive.

I wonder how ventilation is, and if it'll fit the SFX-L PSUs?

I dig the clean looks - one thing I've usually liked with Lian Li. I also like the lack of ODD, and the flexible drive layout. Slap in one huge 3.5" drive for raw storage, and several SSDs.

It's 160mm x 491mm x 286mm, or over 22L, and yet only supports video cards up to 220mm.

SFX PSUs are 63.5mm thick, so this case is over twice as thick as the PSU. Either there is a mistake with the measurements (could they be counting the stand?) or this thing is hugely inefficient with space.

It's almost certainly the width of the stand. The case itself looks to be 100-110mm wide.

The case is definitely only 105-110mm wide, which would put the depth at ~255mm for a volume of ~13.8L. Much better :p

That's much better.

Not sure how I missed the link to the gallery.

wish it was a couple of inches deeper to support a larger video card... :(

Such odd dimensions. 491mm is almost 20inches. Wider than a full size keyboard. Most entertainment cabinets have partitions around 17inches. For its intended use as a steambox which will sit in the TV cabinet, that is just an odd way to go.

actually thats a really tall chassis for a m-itx syhstem. Kind of odd really...

Even with the wide foot, it seems so easy to topple it. The dimensions make it not a Steambox but just an mITX designer's case. If all it requires for a steambox is desktop HTPC design, than Silverstone has been making them for decades. As Morbo66 points out, it is very wide to put inside cabinets so it will most likely only be useable upright.

Which CPU cooler would you use with this case? Are there any with videocard-like blower fans to vent directly out the back?

If you don't use a discrete GPU, the mid-section with the riser card is wasted?
The PSU's section too, because without a GPU you could use a PicoPSU and be done with basically 2/5th's of the case's size.

No side ventilation for the GPU, just the opening in the back. It is basically recirculating hot exhaust through a hard drive back into the GPU. Nice...

Nice case, would fit perfect inside my ikea besta tv cabinet.

But is the space for a video card 200mm or 220mm?
I would like to fit my GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 inside, and it's 218.4mm :)

Weird thing is the spec is listing two numbers. 240mm and 220mm. I'd assume with a little modding to the case edge one could eek out an extra 10mm-20mm.

The chassis dimensions are 105x255x470 = 12.6lts. The stand adds the discrepancy. I don't know why Lian-li won't list the chassis dimensions.

Volume is not bad at all. It's just a bit weird form factor. It's actually good if you want to save footprint.

What I wonder is if it would carry a monitor on it in horizontal orientation...

Looks it's been made for you to place vertically only, you may run in some problem with airflow it looks like some vents will get blocked by placing it horizontally.
I haven't tried this one specifically however all the LL I had before had really sturdy thick metal panels so placing a monitor on top of it shouldn't be a problem.

For ventilation, I was thinking about leaving the vents at the bottom and use some stick-in feet to raise the case...

The manual is posted. It comes with rubber feet to use the case in a horizontal position. The ventilation is suppose to be on top.

Looking for a nice cpu cooler for this case.
Anyone know what cooler lian li used in their photos? it sure looks nice.

anyone know when this case will be on sale in the US?

Linus says the temps are terrible in this case. Can anyone comment on this?

I'm not particularly interested in this case or the layout so it doesn't matter to me much, but i'd like to know what other people think of temps. Seems a shame as it's a very nice looking case. But it makes sense, there doesn't appear to be a strong airflow channel - just parts thrown together.

Note that the card is only ventilated from the back and there's no perforation at the bottom which probably makes the hot air circle around the card rather than get replaced by fresh cold air from outside.

It sucks by design and I don't get one thing about this case:

With this setup they couldve gone for mATX and 250mm card setup, still it would be hot but at least it would fit stuff.

I've rarely seen Lian-Li make well-thought cases, most seem like they are barely tested (at all). This seems another one of those that just seemed like a fun idea but no one with any experience in building PC's has been allowed to speak their mind.
