When was the last time you paid full price for a game?

WoW Cataclysm. Wish I would have waited on buying it. Was not as hyped as I liked.
 
Well for me I was hyped and sick of the repetitive COD series and thought to myself why is there much hype for BF3, then was released then I bought a physical copy for full retail and an XBOX 360 controller and the rest is history, tempted to buy premium but is waiting for a major price drop on it LOL
 
A couple of years ago I always paid for the collector's edition. Then I was like WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE, I barely play these games. So I stopped. I think the only game that I'll ever pay full price + collector's is Fallout. Because I love that game even if I don't play the new ones.
 
Diablo 3 CE and Reaper of Souls, last two games I've spent full price on now. Oh and if you count Star Citizen, lol.
 
back in the late 90s, paid $70 for wayne gtezky 3d hockey for N64.

Diablo 1 the day it came out. Played 22 hours straight no joke first night.
Fallout 1 & 2. Played the demo for fallout 1 before it came out when it was gurps rpg.

Ha, I was coming here to sayStar Citizen if you can count spending about my first car on a game that's not out. But still can't wait.

For me the last games I paid full price in as long as I can remember: Diablo III and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Don't regret either.
 
Maybe gran turismo 5, I don't know. Most recently I funded a game on kickstarter last year for $50 if that counts.
 
If we're talking about AAA-games: Thief. Because I loved the original games. Big mistake, two months later it was 50% off already. :mad:

Nowadays, with all the pre-order bonus dlc and season pass crap I just wait until the full package is really cheap until I buy. Especially with Ubisoft games, you need to be a rocket scientist to fully understand which DLC you get!

The games coming out in october/november are really tempting though. But, with a backlog as big as mine, I really should restrain myself.
 
Star Citizen....


Minecraft because there was no other option.

Almost everything I play now was either bought on sale or gifted.
