So, pretty much zeroing in on getting one of the Qnix QX2710s but I'm confused by all the different prices on what seem like the same(?) monitor. Anyone know what the differences are? For example on AccessoriesWhole website:
http://stores.ebay.com/AccessoriesW...5&_sticky=1&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14&_sop=2&_sc=1

Some of the differences I do see are SE vs Multi True 10 SE vs Super QHD vs DPmulti but not sure the difference or which is better (Super QHD and DPmulti do seem to cost more).

They all range from ~$260 to ~$360 (and not for the perfect pixel model).

Any idea?

Looking at the link ! !
Official Dealer of QNIX / 1Year Warranty / 100% Tested

They mean tested to work while at the factory, NOT the people you are buying from ! !

Has anyone that paid for that noticed the box was opened,,taken apart,,put back together,, Retaped ?

That would be the only way to Test ?

PWM for the Qnix looks to be around 156 Hz. I have found that I am affected by lower PWM and that it gives me headaches.

My current monitor is an Asus VG278H PWM= 360hz @120hz

Any opinions on whether I should be affected by PWM flickering on the Qnix?

I was under the impression only the other versions of the panel had PWM and the standard, 1 input, non-SE Qnix was PWM free.

It also appears, according to OC.net, that the Catleap can't overclock nearly as well as the Qnix.

Multi-input True 10 Qnix/X-Stars=Fraud since they can't oveclock without dropping frames and are not flicker free despite being advertised as so.

Buy a single input, non-SE edition (owners received units with more issues vs. non-SE editions) Qnix QX2710 or X-Star DP2710.

Read this threads 1st post.

Buy this one or a Yamakasi Catleap if you want a glossy monitor

Very helpful, thank you. Do you know if either of those come with 'real' VESA mounting (as in the holes line up and the existing stand can be removed without leaving a tail), or alternatively if any of them come with a decent stand?

I can confirm that the QX2710 has a Vesa mount and that the stock stand is removable. However, removing the stock stand stem required removing the bezel, which is easily done. While the stock the stand does hold the monitor, I'm glad I immediately replaced it with a Monoprice stand.

Do ALL Qnix 2710 now have PWM?

Or is it just the MULTI INPUT Qx2710 that can have PWM?

Thanks
