Ya that dot is horrible, if you are playing an outside map the sun blinds out the stupid dot. I also noticed they nerfed the accuracy of the M4 again after last patch. No way you are hitting anything while moving with that gun.

There's a movement accuracy penalty for all automatic fire guns, not just the M4. They tweaked the movement in the patch before the latest one in order to address the ADADAD spam.
I'm seriously unhappy with the scopes on the aug and sg553, you cannot see that dot on anything lightly colored at all. I wish they left the guns alone honestly, I used the aug primarily as a CT before and was completely fine with it.
The CZ isn't bad at all, the first time I used it I got 2 kills before I realized I was out of ammo lol. 2 clips? Really? Back to five seven and tec-9 lol.

Whenever i see this thread pop up, it makes me wants to play again. Then I look at it in my steam library and instantly get bored.

Does this game stream data off the hard disk after loading? I had this game installed on my girlfriends slower 5400 rpm disk that for whatever reason was partitioned into 4 different drives. Anyway, the game would be running g just fine at 120+ fps and would have random moments where the game would stutter dropping to 15 or so fps for a Second. I ended up putting this on the ssd and the stutter vanished. The odd thing is I have quite a few games including battlefield 4 on her comp and no other game exhibited that behavior.
Bought this and played last night. Its TF2 + CS, and I gotta admit, I was laughing thinking, dammit, my joke about CS with hats was true and I never even realized it.
With that said, I played for about 3 hours solid, and i had a lot of fun doing it. I played both casual and competitive, and even though its probably been 2-3 years at least since I touched CS in any form, I didn't do too bad I guess, ended up around a 3-4:1 average for the night.
But I could feel my clumsy ness with buying and the like, I haven't played a FPS since BF3 reasonably, and even that I quit playing around 2-3 months after release.
But it still feels like CS, and I don't think thats a bad thing, the maps look great, the basic gameplay is still there, and all the assholes and smart mouths are still playing
I think the thing that drew me back to it, was the size of the community. I work till 3-5 AM EST, so try finding a game to play in other fashions that time of the day / night. CS might be the
only thing I can do at that time of day and find someone to play with.

So what's this Operations stuff? A limited-time expansion? They don't make you pay for Operation Breakout but they do bug you to buy it. Why would I pay for something I only have access to until October? I'm not THAT into the game.
You can only select the map that is needed.
ADADAD spam was the greatest. Nobody could hit me while I owned them.
What kind of CS match goes 90 minutes
Competitive matches can last awhile

The community is one of the main reasons I quit playing games like this. Horrible, horrible little 13-year-old shits and assholes.
in my experiences it it 40-50 minutes. they say 90 because 30 rounds at (2 minutes + 15 second buy time + 45 bomb time) 3 minutes = 90.

I havent had this issue but I only play competitive, I have no idea what casual community looks like. I've made several really good Friends since I started playing again it's weird. I think the new ranking has just matched me up with really nice decent players.
It can run pretty darn long in competitive. 5 minute warm up, 2-3 minutes per round usually about 20 rounds minimum.
Overall having recently come back to the game a few weeks ago, I quit for about 4 months due to internet problems, I'm very happy with it. The competitive matchmaking has been close to spot on every time. The catch being smurfs which are way overskilled players who make new accounts so they can play with lower level friends/teams. I don't begrudge them because since I started playing my matches have been slightly below my level. On a good day I'll get complaints but I goof off enough to where I never really piss anyone off.
I'm not sure how I feel about the iron door update. That kind of fucks up balancing, but I havent seen anything end of the world in my lower rank matches.
My handle is piscian18 if anyone needs a stringer.
Disable in game voice comms, completely different game
The other benefit of triple screen gaming is the chat is way off to a side and not at all something I pay attention to.

This, BUT often you will find yourself kicked from casual games randomly because a bunch kids on voice have all decided that THIS IS NOW A KNIFE ONLY SERVER AND IF YOU DON'T KNIFE WE'RE GONNA KICK YOU ( As they shoot you with an auto-snipe )

Lol true, I get bored with the children playing Office and Dust 2 non stop so I change servers frequently enough to not get booted too often.

I've ran into two this week, one just blatant and not trying to hide. Flat out trolling aimbot. The other was not so obvious till I watched the video of the match and so him following people through the walls.
It's not going to make me stop but it is insane how common it is, people just buying multiple accounts with no concern of being banned. This shit is a disease I really don't get why so many people are this worried about winning to the point of not caring if its deserved or not. To the point of paying for these hacks and multiple accounts.
Between this and working customer service for so many years I've come to realize this world is beyond fucked, nobody has a sense of responsibility any more, maybe they never did.

That is why I got burned out on CS in general. I got up to one of the AK ranks and some of the stuff that became more common was just ridiculous.
Maybe they weren't hacking, but the crap that started occurring just made the game unpleasant to play.
