My girlfriend is retiring her iphone 4S (in favor of an Android device) - but would like to transfer all her purchased music from her iphone to her ipod touch. She is not set up to sync either device with her computer (but can set that up if needs be). She does not have/use itunes.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

All the music purchased directly on the phone though the iTunes store? If so and the iPod touch is on iOS 5 or newer (maybe its 6) you can go into the purchased section of the app and redownload it all.
OR
install itunes on a computer, plug in the phone and transfer purchases and then sync the iPod.

Both of those will only work if the music was purchased directly through the iTunes store. If it all came from CDs/amazon/what ever then she had to have plugged it into a computer to move it on, so she can just resync

Easiest way is to sync with iTunes. Done.

This only works with music purchased on iTunes. There may or may not be third party programs that will do this for you, I bet google would give you an answer.

If the music was purchased with iTunes on the device, it will automatically be available on the other device when logging in with the Apple ID that purchased it. If you don't want to redownload it, just connect it to the computer and sync it.
