Anyone know of a driver I can get for this old computer that's meant for XP? It's an older Toshiba Satellite (P30?)?

Every driver I try that says win 7 compatible won't work. Gives me an error "this driver is for XP/2000 only", something like that.

The last one I tried said it was an Omega driver, but I'm not sure. It came from "driverscape.com"

All I need it to do is show the proper widescreen resolution! It's not gonna be anyone's gaming PC.

EDIT: 32 bit version of Win 7

AMD should have it listed on their website under legacy drivers.

You may have to find the Windows Vista 32-bit version if they do not list a Windows 7 32-bit version. You may also have to install it manually using the Device Manager as the installer package may check the operating system version and give you an error if it was not designed for Windows 7.

Regular 9700, but I'm trying the link now that Cyclone put up. Thank you both. I will update this status.

sounds like you need a custom resolution.

so you know what the screen reso actually is?

Notebook?

If so, try using the tool called Mobility Modder on the latest driver you can find on AMD's site - no problems if it's meant for Windows Vista.
