I am running crossfire reference 290s on my system with a Corsair HX750. The meter reads up to about 680W when playing games.

Is my PSU ok or should I start looking for a new one?

Thanks!

I have the same question and I'm running an AX850. I can OC single 290's with +100mv to 1150/1500, but with two I'm lucky to get to 1050 core without artifacts.

Is this a PSU issue?

I didn't want to risk losing 2 expensive cards so I just went ahead and bought a Seasonic Platinum 1000W :D

I would try OC'n both of them seperately, make sure one is not holding you back.

I wouldn't imagine the draw would get over 800w with two of those cards. From what I have seen in a number of reviews even 290x's in crossfire pull 730-750 for a total system.

.... Are you on a AMD Chip? (8350?)

I am going to test them seperately. I've already tested one and it does 1150 core at +100mv no problem. I will test the other one this weekend.

I'm using a 3770k 4.5ghz @ 1.26v.
