I have 2 Apple Mac Mini's. One is mid 2011, I3 and 8 GB Ram. The is other one is a 2012 with an I5 and 4Gb of Ram.

I use bootcamp on both and installed WHS 2011 on one and using (attempting to use) the other as a web server. Now individually everything is fine. Extremely happy with WHS 2011 and the web server using Win 7 Pro for web serving works fine.

The problems start when I have them on at the same time.

I use DynDns to resolve my dynamic IP like most other folk for my web server. Now when I put in a domain name to reach my web server to bring up a website remotely, I always wind up getting the remote login page for my WHS server.

Not sure exactly what needs to be changed here but all I need is for my servers to be accessible remotely and independently. Seems simple enough but I need help with it.

This would be happening most likely as they are both set to run on port 80. You would have to change one of them to run on a different port or else get a different external ip for each machine so that hey each resolve to their own address as right now you most likely have only a single external ip in use from your ISP

I figured as much. Adding another IP costs $$ I would imagine.... not into that. Seems like a router config would fix things. Or somehow amending whs to run on a different port than the default 80. Not sure how to go about it.

you could set up port translation so homeserver.dyndns.com resolves to one box, but homeserver.dyndns.com:8080 (for example) point to port 80 on the other server.

Read up on port translation, it might do what you want
