Any suggestions on something to play? I've hit my yearly FPS slump where they just leave me feeling MEH. Titanfall was a nice refresh but Ive played the crap out of it and need something new.

Lately Ive had a MMO itch but I refuse to fire WoW back up, so any suggestions? How's GW2 holding up? I own it but only made it to lv 17 and stopped back when it first came out. Looking for some epic PvP action to make me smile lol

I like Age of Conan. Been playing on and off for several years. Not playing atm only because I don't want to play it into the ground. But it is a great Conan game, if you are into that lore.

SWTOR aka star wars of the old republic

its gotten alot of love over the past 2 years and its free...housing is coming this summer for example..they've added new warzones and new flashpoints/operations/gear crafting stuff etc....if it released like the shape its in today, alot of people would of stayed around

pvp is not 'epic' but it has very quick/chaotic/fun battlegrounds...there is also a ranked systen if you like that..its has exclusive pvp gear that you earn...and huttball is simply the best designed battleground ever next to arathi basin in wow

rpg you ask? the individual story lines of all the classes are the best of any mmo made with cut scenes/moral choices/voice acting

did I mention it was free to play? BUT, you really need to sub OR buy somethin from the online store called the cartel market to make life easier especially as you level up

give it a shot...no money needed...it has the traditional tab targeting mmo combat...gw2 has 'action rpg' combat....ymmv as to what you prefer

good luck with your choices

ps: don't forget AION..it never gets mentioned but it is a really good mmo....pvp with fortresses/housing and the best gear skinning in the genre..love the auction house too

Will Wild Star have a monthly fee?

Edit: Nevermind I answered my own question. Interesting business model and unique graphics style, might have to give this one a shot!

Lets see, for what I suggest...

WildStar looks like it will be great, and there are some neat PVP options in the works (in all the "WoW traditions" of battlegrounds, arenas, open world PVP, PVP server types, and even some new stuff like Warplots and Town/Housing Assault/Defense PVP). It is currently in beta, and there's a test this weekend! Need a key? I've an extra.. just send a PM!

Elder Scrolls Online is said to have an excellent "Dark age of Camelot" style 3-way PVP, stacked atop a very Skyrim-like experience. I've not yet gotten far enough to really try the PVP, but I hear good things about it.

Guild Wars 2 is polished and just got a HUGE, free update of a TON of quality of life improvements. Many things are account-wide now, and generally are smoother and more enjoyable, not to mention "megaserver" zones which share populace from many different servers. Certainly worth a look. As indicated above, it has a great selection of PVP options including large siege battles of World vs World!

Finally, though it is in Pre-Alpha, I urge you to take a look at Shroud of the Avatar - it is in many ways going to be the successor to Ultima Online, and PVP is a strong feature of gameplay. Though it won't be yet as punishing (ie full loot) as it was in the old days, it will still be quite involved especially compared to most MMOs today.

Oh, and if you're interested in a MMO universe of twitch-based space combat, including PVP combat, check out Star Citizen. Its really coming together fabulously, even in its pre-alpha stage as well.

DDO ( dungeons and dragons online ) and GW2 were both better than WoW. I played DDO a couple of years ago though and GW2 a year ago.

Even though they are good , they both don't have the population WoW does , so that being said they are not quiet as good as WoW , and everyone is entitled to their own opinion & freedom of speech. To each there own. I just played Gw2 and i don't like the controls and fighting seems gross as it's slow..
