MSI are revealing upcoming line of “GAMING” mainboards, designed primarily for enthusiast gamers seeking to get the very most from their hardware to software. They are coming in three distinct flavors: GAMING 3, GAMING 5 and GAMING 7.

MSI USB Audio Power. Our next generation GAMING motherboards all feature USB Audio Power, similar to the latest ITX GAMING models. USB Audio Power ensures stable 5V power delivery no matter what. Delivering perfect audio quality for USB headsets and USB DAC devices.

For our next generation of GAMING motherboards we spend a lot of attention to small details. They will come with a complete black I/O panel without the shiny silver edge you are used to.

Good thing they have gold plated usb for high polling rate devices. That copper stuff can't keep up with 1 kHz I'm sure.

I love my Z87-GD65. If these new boards are just as solid, good for them.

Nice looking boards, I think I am going to give one of these a spin. I have not been happy with my last couple ASUS boards that are over priced and finicky. Never tried an MSI board so looks like a good time to do so and should be a nice addition to the folding farmette.

which slot is that between the last two physical x16 slots on the 7 and 9 boards?

Interesting, would love to see some respectable blind hifi testing on that USB thingymawhacky.

Do people really buy based on all the "gaming" features and the dragon? Why would anyone want a killer nic over an intel?

I bought based on all the extremely positive reviews and the excellent value offered for the price. It's a solid board. The aesthetics are just a nice extra IMO. And the Killer nic hasn't given me any problems so I can't complain.
