Decided to upgrade to a 280x and 270. Sorry to see these go, but have to make up the money somehow. These cards were used to mine btc back in summer of 2013 for about 5 months. Didn't use for a good 2 to 3 months due to bitcoin not being profitable. Discovered litecoin and have mined with this card for 3 months on that. Never had temps go above 80 celcius. Well cooled in my case and was in basement (thus low ambient temps). In conclusion well treated. I would get 350 to 400 khs depending on configuration on mining software and core and memory clocks but YMMV. I usually kept the core and mem clocks at stock speeds. Most I went was 900 core vs 850 stock. Memory was changed once but either the power supply or motherboard couldn't handle it, had weird driver issues when I messed with that. So memory was stock 99.99% of time. No voltage modifications or bios changes.
Also tenatively planning on selling my xfx dd r9 270. It has the mining bios by stilt on it. Undervolted from 1.225 to 1.125 volts. Gets 430 kHs (ymmv). Uses one 6 pin pci e. Have never had temps go above 70 celsius on this card at 75% fan speed. Scary quiet until 60% fan speed. At 75% its audible, but nowhere near annoying (I have my 4 cm sickleflows providing that for me). $160 OBO shipped
Dusted and cleaned, will be packaged securely in antistatic bag (and a bigger package obviously
). Will ship USPS Priority Mail.
