Long time [H] reader Elias Aoude sends word that the Kickstarter for Grail To The Thief is live and needs your support. Watch the video below and read the description to see if this is something you want to pledge your support to.

Grail to the Thief is an interactive audio adventure for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux that can be played using only sound, without the need for visuals. The game has been designed with the needs of the blind and visually impaired in mind but is also designed to be played by the non-impaired. Our goal is to deliver an exciting, immersive experience in which the player will always be fully aware of what is happening through the use of voice-overs, sound effects, ambient sound and music.

It looks like a cross between zork, and one of those annoying interactive children's books.

Either that or it's Legend of Kyrandia with no pictures
 
A very cool project! I am lucky that everyone in my entourage has excellent vision but I can only imagine what it would be like to have a blind child or father.

This is going to make a lot of people happy. Can you imagine being able to play a game for the first time?

Keep at it guys, I'm sure your will find a niche market ripe for the taking.
