Ratpadz XT $25 w/Free Shipping

That is nice to know , mine has warped , my mouse slides off all the time -i think this should be recognized and corrected , i should have a new pad shipped to me -- any other company i would have gave them hell for selling a defective item- u decide

i would order another if it knew it would not bow up from the middle. Doubting
i could ware it out in this lifetime

As plastic ages, plasticizer components leech out of it into the atmosphere. Quite simply it dries out. If you feel as though you have not gotten your money's worth out of your Ratpad, hit up the contact button on the Ratpad site and we will address your concern.

Free shipping is taking too long!!!!
That little gripe aside let me say I have ordered many of these and they are awesome. I'm very heavy handed so I tend to wear the surface smooth after a few years - my poor mouse feet suffer the same fate as well. I still have my original [H] surface one, but it's retired as a collector's item : )

Any update on shipping on these? I ordered one over a week ago and have not received any update on if it has been shipped or not or any sort of tracking information.

I seem to remember this problem last time I ordered. Frustrating that you guys claim to be focused on customer service but can't update your customers on their order for over a week!

Still no update on shipping... what is going on guys? I used the contact form on the site to inquire about my order, and still have not gotten a response. Honestly I am very close to doing a chargeback through PayPal at this point...

Have you PM'd Kyle?

Sorry, I have not seen this. Can you give me your order specifics via email? [email protected] Thanks!

My original [H] logo Ratpadz goes everywhere with me and, in a pinch, makes one hell of an ice scraper!

I want one with the [H] logo!! Is this possible?!?

I still loving my ratpadz over a year later. I think i need a bigger one though. It truly makes gaming effortless. My newest mouse (Logitech protocore) glides across it with nothing more then a light finger push.

ordered my second one since being here....first time was the GS. Of course XT this time.

Getting one with a [H] logo would be the only way I will replace my 8 year old guy.

I really wish I could get hold of one of the original ones with the flaming logos, or that Kyle would start producing printed ones again.

I bet he has a few stashed away somewhere, lol....

yes for me it is...Dunno what the deal is with this mousepad. Ive had an xray tech aqua 3 that is going on 7 years...If a damn mouse pad wears out in a yr or two its garbage.

are these made with the same material as the originals? the thinner smaller ratpadz that was on sale a while back was crap and my ratpadz from the first batch is still flat as keira knightley so i'm wondering how the quality is on the new ones.

There are two different versions of the RatPadz:

The RatPadz GS is thinner, less expensive, and does tend to wear out faster.
The RatPadz XT is the same material and construction as the original RatPadz from the beginning (minus the cool screen printing)

The RatPadz XT is the one you want if you're looking at buying a RatPadz.... durability wise there just is no contest IMO.

Hmm, I'm thinking about finally giving in and getting an XT, but the site seems to only load a blank page for me.

Hey, Kyle! Any word on this issue some of us are currently having?

Well, that is not good! Lemme get on that.

I can't help but chime in. I've had mine since I cant remember when. It's seen a ton of desks. I never stop to think about it, but it's seriously the one peripheral I still own that I use every single day AND it's in perfect condition. Speaking of desks, I probably bought it around the time of the 10,000$ desk thread, if anyone remembers that.

anyone have any coupons for these pads? seems like they never go on sale. Also how about selling the ratpad with the H logo on it or a picture of a rat?

My ratpadz is completely worn out with zero support from the company. It has been over 6 months trying to get this problems sorted out. Company could care less about me trying to solve the issue or even replying to me about my issues. Hopefully someone can figure out why the support is gone and why they are not wanting to help.

So what exactly is your problem, I can help you out.

Just wanted to post...been ages since I've had both mousepads for my wife and I. Both still in pristine condition with daily use and still just as good as it was since I received it day 1. Our mice move freely and I just love the feel it gives. Yes it's a huge mousepad, but you will NEVER need another mouse pad!;);)

Edit Update:

I finally got all my issues solved and a new ratzpad. Thanks.

I would just like to point out that KK's issue was with a pad that we stopped selling over 5 years ago IIRC. But we still made a satisfied customer out of him.

Was hoping for a Christmas sale or something. I need to pick up 2 more for my wife and son.

I emailed support several weeks ago about replacement feet and never got a reply. Not a huge deal but, is it possible to get replacements with adhesive? I've had 3-4 come off. Guess I could use rubber cement or something...

Shoot me an email about the feet and I will make sure you are taken care of.

I just noticed this thread was un-stickied.

My Ratpadz (I keep on wanting to call it Ratzpad ) is still going strong from when Kyle gave them out at an [H]/AMD event in Dallas a few years ago. Speaking of, which, will there be another show in the near future? I went to 2 of them; not sure how many [H] has had the past several years. Both were fantastic. I know I'm going off topic.

Sorry, I worked for over a year to put another together with another graphics company, but they just could never get their shit together. Gotta give up at some point.

^ Damn. That sucks to work so hard and they just won't cooperate. Thanks for trying, at least those who went to the other ones have some fond memories. And we got to meet you in person.

Will you ever offer a larger ratpadz? :)

I found myself needing a larger surface area to have more room for skating. Yeah I know skating is a little old school but I never broke away from that technique.

I have been kicking around buying a used CNC table to do custom shaped and sized surfaces.

Kyle, were the problems related to getting the print to stick on the slick plastic surface?

If anyone is considering these, I highly recommend getting one. While others have copied them, these originals still remain one of the best surfaces out there.

My original one lasted from 2000/2001 when I first got it (can't remember anymore) until 2011. it was still usable in 2011, but the feet were coming off (I know they can be replaced) and it was warping and I had a tough time bending it back just right.

The Ratpadz folks even offered to send me new feet for only the cost of shipping, but rather than mess with that, I decided i'd rather just support Kyle and the Ratpadz and get another one.

Maybe I will get a third in 2021 :p

Thanks for the support Z!

To answer your question about the paint, yes, it is extremely resource intensive to get the paint to stick to the surface. It must be annealed with a clean blue gas flame then the surface must be printed on within 18 to 24 hours, or it must be annealed again. It drives the cost of the pad up by about 60% to print on it.
