I was curious if anyone else was having trouble claiming a rebate from Powercolor. I bought the card in my sig from NCIX in May when it was advertised as having a $20 rebate. The rebate sat in "processing" for nearly two months. Then it finally got updated to having a rebate number so I expected to get my gift card. When a month went by and nothing showed up I emailed them to inquire about where it was. They replied that the product never had a rebate offered, and when I checked the status on their site again it had been changed back to the original state of not showing a rebate number.

Has anyone actually gotten their rebate out of Powercolor lately?

Just a quick update on this situation. NCIX has gone above and beyond anything I would have expected to resolve this situation with Powercolor. When asked, they provided me with all the documentation I needed. When Powercolor then failed to respond to the inquiry about why they denied the rebate after having approved it and issued a rebate #, NCIX stepped up to the plate and addressed the issue with Powercolor themselves to ensure I got the rebate I was entitled to. So a big thank you to NCIX. Customer service like this definitely stands out compared to places like Newegg.

I submitted a rebate at powercolor and sapphire, after 8 weeks I got the rebate from sapphire and never heard from powercolor. I then called them up and asked them about it. They denied my rebate and said the rebate form was not signed. I asked a copy of the form and they sent me the rebate form from microcenter that came with the receipt.

I told them that I followed the instructions in the internet and use the rebate form from the website. They said they never received that... Funny, that rebate form I sent was STAPLED together with it. Looks like they are looking for ways to deny rebate. Too bad my copy was destroyed when my power supply blew up and broke the hard drive :(

they need to outlaw this BS and make them give rebate at time of sale.

But they will just buy a senator and then it will be they can deny the sale and refuse to ship you item until you supply the rebate amount to the seller LOL

hmm i submitted one and it went fine but im not doing another one from these stories

I guess I should feel happy I just got my rebate from Powercolor for 6450 I bought a few months ago.
