Titanfall Beta Codes: How to Get a Code and Sign Up

I got a beta code -- did me no good because after downloading 13GB all I got was 'no servers found' for hours.

Too bad I have a jacked up work schedule too and am not able to sit around (trying) to play all weekend either.

So far my impression of the game is: I downloaded 13GB and only got to see some little fancy intro movie tellig me the studio/publisher. First impressions count -- they think people are going to shell out 60 dollars to be greeted by "sorry - no servers, you can't play even though you paid for it"

6v6 only? no modding? locked down servers? lack of destructible environments? already a bit dated look? I start my bidding at 30 dollars on a good day, less on your average day.
 
Im still trying to get a pc beta code :/ Does anyone have a spare? I would be very appreciative.

The severs work perfectly fine now, I'm having a blast with it. The 6v6 isn't so bad since its balanced well and everyone is able to have a titan and not be limited. With the added bots it makes the battles look big and there always something go on. You never have to worry about camping or spawn killing either, its impossible to camp in this. Also killing the grunt bots makes getting a titan faster at the start so they aren't included in the game just for looks.

If this game was more like Battlefield with large open maps that extended out then destructible environments would work but all the maps are closed off and designed for smaller sized battles. Titans would tear everything up so fast it wouldn't be any fun and kill the flow of the game. If your not in a titan and are out in the open with a titan coming straight towards you there isn't anything you can, your going to die unless you can find cover. Its fun trying to sneak around buildings and being able to jump on top of titan to take it out.
 
I registered with two separate accounts for the pc version with no luck so far. How often are they sending emails?
 
I got an Xbox one code even though I signed up for PC. Kinda peeved about that.

I am sure there are people willing to take the code off your hands. but that doesn't help you I know.
 
played some for the first time last night -- it seems fun, but not 60 dollars fun. Levels seems small, no environmental damage, rounds are too quick, and waiting time between games is crap.

It felt like I'd play for 5 minutes, then sit around for 4 minutes waiting for a new game to start.

I dont know if they plan on changing the server system, but playing with 11 other random strangers EVERY time just sucks. Nobody was chatting, and the upgrade/unlock system gave me the impression there would be some grinding going on as you progress.

Overall feel is that it should be the type of game that's free2play. I'm playing at 1440p all the bells and whistles on, its smooth no doubt, but feels like something that should have come out 5 years ago.
 
Was anyone with an xbox one given access? I did sign up online but never got a got or anything. Noticed late last night that the beta was in the xbox one game store and was able to download it. just jumped into a game now

if you have an xbox one try to see if you can just download it and play it.

I never did anything to tie my registration to my xbox live account, never got a code to enter into my system... but I was able to just download the beta and jump into it.

So far not a bad game. I know people complained about the 6v6 but really with the titans involved it works out well I think. you have AI that are only soldiers then 6 people on each side that can spawn a titan. You really don't know who is AI vs who is a player when on the ground in your human mode. most areas have you needing to stay on the run as you can't really hide much anywhere. At least in the 2 maps here in beta.
 
I signed up yesterday but never got any notification. However, it did showed up in my origin apps and was able to download it
 
If you ask customer service for it they will hook you up, just tell then your having issues signing up and they will add it to your library (worked for me and many others)
 
How to get a Titanfall beta code - wait till it comes out and pay full retail for it. EA - it's in the game.
But on a serious note, I hope this game delivers, if only to notch EA's reputation up from "Bunch of Fuckwads" to a "Group of Shitheads."

+1, really wanted to try it on PC but never registered and all the little batches of codes were gone in a flash. Saw a youtube video about going to customer service and getting one, tried it and it worked flawlessly. :)
