Saw this but they yanked the $40 off with a board for the FX-8320
 
Why does it say "no ecc memory"? These parts should still do it in the right board.

Awesome deal! Even better than the last deal on FX-6300 for $90. With the trend with highly multi-threaded games like BF4/Frostbite engine that takes advantage of eight I'm sticking to eight cores or more with the exception of Kaveri since it's dirt cheap and can repurpose it as a storage server.

Wow, Great find . Might hafe to take a trip from Indy over to Ohio to get on this deal this weekend :D If they they still have stock. Does suck you can't get mobo combo with this deal :mad:. I figure it will cost me around 25.00 to get there and back on gas. Still good savings. would hook you up JNavy89GT but it says one per customer. but if I can get my son to go we could hook you up, just pay some gas and shipping. No, No.........I meant the usual $40 off a compatible motherboard bundle doesn't apply to the 8320 now. So in effect yes they took the $40 off the CPU but are getting it back if you buy a board with it. Verstehen?
 
Grabbed my Father in-law the 6300 and the one MSI board from MicroCenter on Friday. He also grabbed 16GB's of ram.

He's really pleased going from an old barely dual core AMD CPU and 4 Gigs of DDR2.
 
Microcenter also have fx4130 for $59.99 for retail box or $49.99 for oem tray chip only

If they drop it to $99.99 and give you $40 off a board they are basically giving you the cpu for $60.

Wasn't it $149.99 with $40 off a board? If so , $50 off the cpu is even better.
 
I am going to be @ MC on Thursday morning in Bmore, MD...If anyone wants one of these, shoot me a PM no later then tomorrow night and don't forget my wonderful state charges 6% sales tax..
 
I wish newegg would match some of these deals. Living 100 miles from the nearest Micro Center (in Dallas), once you figure up gas (20 mpg=5gallonseachwayX$3Xroundtrip=$30), 8.25% sales tax (which newegg doesn't charge me) not too mention time and trouble (~3 hrs round trip drive) it's just not worth it.

Add up the gas and tax and it's $138 minimum, and newegg prob will deliver the same chip to my door for 159, less on sale. 20 bucks is worth saving an entire afternoon.

Ninja 250 should accommodate those cpu runs just fine and you'll end up with 70mpg :) The ride itself should be more fun too.

Just a (tongue in cheek) suggestion :D
 
Anyone know how long they will have the 4130 at that price for? Fellow MWOer is looking to upgrade.
