I need a keyboard that has:
A-Z
Numbers
Direction arrows

Any suggestions?

I think the Deck 82 is the smallest regular board

I'm looking for one to use with my Raspberry Pi when I take it traveling so I can control it

Are you after mechanical switches? Any budget in mind?

From memory you can get pretty cheap generic chinese made membrane keyboards off ebay, deal extreme etc.

If you're after something more expensive with mechanical switches, I'd recommend something like the Poker. Very small keyboards, which will be nice to type on. Price wise, more expensive though.

I have budget in mind.

All I need it for is to control Raspbmc, don't need fast or precise typing on it, just arrows and enter key.

We used to keep a roll up keyboard behind the bar. It was the worst thing ever for registering key presses.

How bad is it?

I don't need speed or accuracy with this board. My goal is connecting my raspberry pi to a TV and connecting an external HDD and a keyboard to the Pi. All I will do with the keyboard is use the arrow keys to scroll to the movie I want to watch and press enter.

Occasionally if I have Internet connection I will type out a video in youtube and play it. So as it works that's all I need.

avoid the HHKB lite, it's overpriced for the quality
found another [H] thread about the same inquiry and a good recommendation from that thread for a good economical priced compact KB are any of the Cherry ML series keyboards.
You can pick up a Cherry ML series KB on eb@y for like $15 - $30.
