MEMS display to be released.

Further reading reveals that they flicker between rgb and the MEMS "shutters" compensate. The effect is that each pixel is one color. In a 2013 show people noticed that while you move your head around the color shifts. I wonder if the MEMS "shutter" speed is limited and this is showing up on tablets where refresh rate is not important? The good news is this is said to be pretty inexpensive compared to OLED.

yeah, something like that should appear. IPS,TNs, VAs should all become obsolete already. the resources of this technology have been saturated to the max.

"Displays" is where I spend most of my time on this forum. Sitting and hoping a solid replacement for LCD is released.

Before displays it was SSDs. Waiting for the right drive at the right price.

+1 Display is really the only part of my set up where I can't find a part that satisfies me. It feels like next no progress has been made since the CRT days.

Hopefully stuff like this will help!

If we're talking of image quality, then it feels like we've made steps backward more than anything. (Talking about CRT to LCD here)
