Razer peripherals 50% off 1 Day only!

I picked up the Razer Atrox for $125 total (taxes/shipping). I think I did OK since I've always wanted an arcade stick for my PC for Mame and fighting games.

But yah, everything else was pretty much out of stock and that was around mid day. I kept trying to find something that would give me the free shipping but all was left were fillers (t-shirts/mouse pads) I really didn't need/want. I finally gave up trying.

Are gaming keypads worth buying at all?

I love them, and they surpass gaming keyboards in my opinion, and are far more comfortable ergonomically.

No experience with razor versions though, been considering them though.

Placed my order for a set of Chimaera's at 8:07am (sale started at 8)... Just received an e-mail from Razer saying they are on backorder and they can't give an expected date of when they will have more to ship out but I can of course cancel my order.

Classy Razer. Fucking dbags.

My 3rd Deathadder is starting to show its age.. Holding out for ~$40

Have been lucky and bought 4 over the years for $40 or less (Including a Limited Ed VooDoo DA for the wife on ebay for $26, Wish I'd bought them out :p)

4 over how long? I have had my Microsoft Sidewinder with the customizeable weights for 5 years now. It's birthday was January 7th. I just recently took it apart to clean it and there was so much nasty stuff inside. It's really bad to eat around the computer. I have been thinking about getting the Naga or the Logitech G600. I used the G600 in a Best Buy and it fit my hand like a glove. Some say the Naga is better though? I'd really just like a mouse that would last my as long as the Sidewinder.

The oldest one still works but needs disassembly/cleaning every now and then, or it starts double clicking (first gen).

Have several Explorer 3.0's that still work fine, but the resolution is so low.. yeach..

Honestly... If longevity is your primary concern I would stick with Microsoft or Logitech. I use a Razer DeathAdder because nothing seems to feel as good in my hands but I can't speak very highly of how they hold up. In the last four years I've had a DeathAdder 3.5, a Black Edition, and now a 2013 edition. I had to replace the previous two because they developed an issue where they would double click when I single clicked. The 2013 version has been solid so far. I should also point out that when the other mice went out I was playing Warcraft about 5 hours a day (I know, I know) at a US 50 level so they were getting quite a workout. Razer has a two year warranty on their wired mice although I've never bothered to use it as the newer DeathAdder models have always had improvements I've wanted. Logitech is known for having a very hassle free RMA process for their mice.

If you still have the double clickers, try taking them apart and clean the click buttons, works like a charm. (using my old/first gen double clicker at work right now :D )

I did like razors original ball/laser mouse. though the buttons wore out on them.. Im really impressed by this logitech g9. the buttons seem to be still holding up after 3+ years of use.

My 8 year old Logitech MX500/510 is still going strong. Ive replaced the USB cord and soldered on a new microswitch for the left click. Currently using a 3-4 year old G5 that Ive opened up and fixed the left click as well as replaced the pads on the bottom a few times.

Is this sale still going on?

Two ways to answer this question:

1) click on link in OP to find out -or-

2) read on thread title (which was started on 1/15/14) where it states 1 day only . . .

Once I returned the first (which was eating battery life nonstop) I have really grown to love my Logitech G700s..Fits well in my large hand, is wireless, and has as many profiles as I want (or don't want)...I paid ~$74 for it with the 6% sales tax we have..

I will say this, I have a first gen Razer Mamba and love it. As well as I have the first gen Razer Orochi for my laptop. Both are excellent quality. The only other mouse I have which is a backup is a Cyborg RAT7. Which I like, except it fits oddly in my hand. the Razers are more comfortable.
