Post your Mouse and Keyboard pics

Actually you can reproduce a similar keyboard but you would spend a few dollars doing so. Start here:
http://techkeys.us/collections/keyboards/products/poker-2 with that keyboard and goto geekhack.org and you can learn how to do it. Best hide your credit card and paypal before you go there or you will spend money.

Dang....must....resist.....this....combo.....

Got a new DasKeyboard Ultimate S recently
Mouse is a Razer Deathadder which I've had for awhile but it's nice and I don't complain :p

Love the KBT Race. Wanted to get one, unfortunately couldn't find any, so ended up with a Keycool 84. The 75% size is perfect IMO.

IBM 1391472 spacesaver. Not shown: circa 2008? MS sidewinder gaming mouse. Also in the rotation: CM Storm Quickfire Rapid with green switches, side printed keys (very happy with this; I like it better than the filco 10keyless).

I looked for like a year. I especially wanted one with mx blues and blue led's. Finally found it on eBay shipped from China.

Nice KB. But I don't care for the F key placement. Take any getting used to?

I also just got a Keycool 84 with cherry browns. Except mine is white with non-backlit PBT keys. A great keyboard with all the keys you need that doesn't take up much desk space.

F key placement is a non-issue for myself.

That looks really slick!

Don't think there's enough extra there to pry me away from my Ducky though.

That looks awesome, not cheap though?! How are you finding it? Do you use the two USB ports on the front for anything? (I'm taking it you don't due to having the wrist rest there.)

Was 180 after shipping. I don't use the ports. There are no USB ports on the front.

Great build for a keyboard. On par with my Ducky's. There are quite a few lighting options also.

I prefer cherry reds, but I am starting to like the browns the more I use em.

Overall 9/10.

Poker II with Cherry MX Blues and Razer Deathadder 3.5 Black. Numpad is some generic thing off eBay with Cherry MX Blacks.
Poker has Cherry double shot keys (except for caps lock)

Found my dad's old IBM Model M recently and it's been a dream to type on. The Steelseries 6Gv2 is used for gaming. G500 on the right.

^ Have you used a mech keyboard before? Thoughts on the K70? My brother is considering getting one.

no this is my first mechanical. i started clicking keys right out of the box before i plugged it in. i thought it was going to be too loud for me while gaming. it turned out to not be an issue since i game with headphones on and my 290X provides a little masking noise. the longer keystrokes are taking some getting used to (compared to my previous Lycosa rubber dome). overall i'm impressed with the quality of construction and i don't mind the mechanical switches. i'd probably be just as happy with rubber dome.

the black version of the K70 only comes with Cherry MX Red switches, which are supposed to be the quietest least-force-required switches that Corsair offers. so for someone that's looking for a more 'rubber dome like' mechanical keyboard this as good as it gets from Corsair. I'll probably order some o-rings to try out.

Awesome, many thanks for the reply, will pass on. Didn't realise the black version only came in reds. Looks like a nice keyboard.

I would like to clarify a point in case someone new to mechanical keyboards reads this — clicky Cherry switches (MX Blue, MX Green, MX White) aside, all tactile and linear Cherry switches make the same amount of noise. Given one uses proper technique, i.e. only depressing the keys to the actuation point which is half way of the 4mm course, a mechanical keyboard with said switches should not be making much more noise than a rubber dome keyboard.

The MX Brown keyboards Corsair are selling will not be any noisier than the MX Reds.

Finally got the Steelseries Rival optical mouse I ordered almost a month ago. I think it was worth the wait. Goes perfectly with the Corsair K70 Vengeance Keyboard I've been using for about that long.

My wife makes fun of me for trying to color-coordinate but she has no taste, in my opinion... Then again, I have put a glowing red computer in our bedroom.

Technically speaking the Rival is perfect for me, though. 2 thumb buttons that my smallish hands don't interfere with in normal operation, and not much else outside of typical mouse setups besides the color-changeable logo, which is (I'm man enough to admit) what sold me on the mouse for the most part.

Everything I have is logitech. G105 KB, G700 Mouse, G230 Headset, C310 Webcam, and G51 Speakers...lol.

Here's my kb and mouse:

In need of a new mouse, my Performance MX has kicked the bucket so I got a cheap one to replace it for now. I do have a nice new KB though:

I'm still rocking the g500 even tho I own a g500s as well. I have the button below front and back as "maximize" which lets me maximize and minimize windows and I find useful. For some reason they took that out of the new software in the g500s so I can't do that with it.

Indeed. My first Logitech board was a G110. It was nice, but then I got all caught up in the huff of mechanical keyboards. Had a couple, browns, reds, blues, etc. Liked em plenty, but I just really missed the feel and squishyness of the logitech boards. So, I sold my mechanical boards and got this. I'm very pleased. =)

As far as logitech goes, all my gear is theirs. Headset, mouse, webcam, speakers, kb, mouse, joystick. lol. They have never done me wrong.

Logitech sent me a new one \o/

Edit: also a little 'softmod' on my keyboard:
