Amazon has the Razer Taipan on sale for 59.99 with FS.

I ordered one last night for 64.08, saw the lower price this morning, called Amazon and they credited me the difference. It's normally 79.99 at Best Buy and it's been at 69.99 on the egg (w/ 1.99 shipping or something like that).

Edit: This price is both for the standard version of the mouse as well as the BF4 edition.

Very nice deal on a good ambidextrous gaming mouse! I've used one of these as well and paid the $80 price tag at Best Buy as you mentioned.

The mouse has a good feel, and once again it's great for ambidextrous people (or lefties)! :p

Wonder how it compares to Logitech G9X? this looks like a more comfortable mouse

Does it have a button on it that allows you to do a 180 degree turn in a fps game like my cheap $18 MS Sidewinder mouse?

Can't say anything for sure about a button to flip you 180, maybe it can be programmed that way? I checked it out in a Best Buy store and can say they it indeed is a very comfortable mouse. Mine should arrive tomorrow so I can say more about it in a couple days.

Got my Taipan today. First thing I noticed was a frustrating lag that, after Googling, seems to be somewhat of a common problem. Someone posted a possible fix by adjusting some power settings in device manager for the USB root hubs. After I did that I haven't noticed the lag and everything seems to be running normally. I haven't been able to test any games yet, but it's a comfortable mouse for me right away.

If you're left handed the left hand edition DeathAdder is still the way to go imo

I am left handed, but I've always used a mouse with my right hand. It feels unnatural and awkward to use my left hand. What drew me to this mouse was the size and comfort and not an overwhelming number of buttons. I saw a Deathadder 2013 in store as well and liked it, but it's a bit larger than the Taipan and didn't feel as comfortable in my hand as the Taipan did.
