Looking to upgrade to 27" from 24"

Currently using an AsusVE248H, and would like to upgrade.

I want a great gaming type monitor, that I can read text on really well. I am overwhelmed as to what to chose.

Also, I would like more screen space. so higher than 1080p would be great.

Please [H], help me out!

the 27inch Asus monitor i hear are pretty good. I'm waiting for the 27inch G-sync monitor to come out to decide first though.
