I have a terrible feeling that this is going to be a very simple answer, but I've spent a couple hours reading and troubleshooting without any success.
my setup:
ASROCK Z87 Extreme4 w/ 16gb ram & Intel 4770k
r290x
I have 4 Intel 520 240gb SSDs in one 5.25" chassis hooked up to the middle 4 sata ports on the motherboard. (ports SATA3_0, SATA3_1, SATA3_2, SATA3_3) I can see all 4 drives in the UEFI bios as separate drives, so I'm not running into something where my drives aren't being detected.. I don't think.
In looking at various screenshots and manuals of the bios, I am supposed to see an "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" option under the "Advanced" menu in UEFI. For the life of me, I can't make that stupid option appear.
The other option that is supposed to be available is using the Intel RAID Bios, which you get by pressing ctrl+I when prompted. Of course I never see that prompt, and I am spammed with "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key".
Can anyone out there enlighten me as to what I'm missing?
