Anybody have any big purchases planned for the Steam Autumn Sale

I'm looking to get some games from Daedalic Entertainment if possible.

I'm all steam purchased-out from the last 3-4 sales still. I might possibly pick up 1 or 2 things, if they are discounted beyond temptation. But I think I'm fine sitting this sale out. That's a first for me.

Wait, Steam has Autumn sales? I thought the next one wasn't until Christmas.

It just started and runs through December 3 ... nothing interesting for me in their first daily specials or flash sales ... good for my budget :D

Looks like it just kicked off.

Try scrolling down to the bottom of the store.steampowered.com page and use the upside down search and buttons. :p

Rise of the Triad is the only game on my mind at this point, if it's 75% off. I have a huge backlog and I mostly play BF4 when I have free time, so I don't have much incentive to purchase anything new.

I just noticed Space Hulk is on sale, I'll probably grab that. Hasn't had the greatest reviews, but I want to give it a shot and have been waiting for a sale. $10 sounds ok to me.

I'm tempted to get Skyrim Legendary, but I might keep waiting on that one. $20 isn't bad, but I bought Skyrim for $60 when it first came out, so have been waiting for it to fall low enough to justify getting Legendary for all the DLC.

I thought that was a nice touch, it's nice to know they acknowledge there's a world outside their window where it's currently NOT autumn :p

I'm still trying to take care of everything I purchased from the Summer Sale. I added backlog to my backlog with that one. I don't think I can justify any more games.... ever.

They have had them for a couple of years now atleast.....

Interesting, I never noticed, lol. Maybe because summer/winter sales align with the big retail store sales as well, I never picked up on the autumn ones.

I can't think of a single game I am looking to buy and browsing this thread didn't show me anything I wanted. I guess I will just grab BF4 on sale and play that till Titanfall.

Alice 2.. aaaaaand probably Artrage 4.

Side note - that 'space engineers' looks mighty interesting for an alpha.

Doh, was at work when Space Hulk was on sale and missed it, oh well.

Do not buy State of Decay. You can't swap equipment amongst characters in the field. You can't save whenever you want. The inventory problem is fucking annoying to the max.

Those aren't really the things I would say makes State of Decay annoying. More like the persistent world when you're not playing wasting all your progress and resources, and the shitty mouse control. At least there is a mod for the former.

Though I have to admit, the save system is bullshit. The only way to force a save is to switch characters, which isn't always an option because of another annoyance; characters will stay at random places away from home waiting for you to interact with them about missions, whether you want to do them or not. Never mind that you have radios...no, you have to go to whether they are and fucking talk to them.

All you guys asking about fc3. It is gonna be like 7.49 on the 27th or 29th on amazon. I think $15 on 29th for fc3 deluxe+fc blood dragon. Dunno what the deluxe brings to the table

you were right...but you missed the date ;) ...FC3 is now $7.49 on Amazon

Eh, wouldn't have wasted money on that but maybe you'll enjoy it.

Yeah, I've been on the fence. No way I'd pay full price, but for $20 I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm not playing anything else at the moment. Not expecting much.

That Van Helsing game is any good? Reviews I found on the net are mixed, and it just looks from the vids I saw, as bad diablo 3 clone.

So far snatched Xcom for 10 euro and BG 1... now, all I need is BG2 and Rome 2 :)

Actually, State of Decay is a great game.

Different strokes I guess. I played it a little while and horribly regret it. I wish I had read about it.

Maybe I'll force myself to play it a bit longer and see if it gets any better. The inventory system alone makes me want to uninstall it though lol

Keep in mind that it is a console port, and a low-budget one at that. Definitely not for everybody, though. I think I got around 30 hours out of it before I got bored.

I picked up skullgirls for 7.49 which should make up for state of decay for 13.33 lol

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is on sale until the 3rd. It might show up in the Flash Sale, though(assuming I haven't missed it). 50% off is still pretty good.

Really happy with my Skullgirls purchase. I knew it was a solid fighter. It feels great on a keyboard. So glad to be done with the console controller for fighting games.

Can't wait to try online. Hopefully still a good amount of people playing.

I'd definitely recommend it by the way. The art and music is great. The tutorial might be the single greatest fighting game tutorial ever made. If you aren't into fighters at all, the Skullgirls tutorial will teach you everything.

I'm downloading Bioshock Infinite as I type this. Also d/l'ing Battlefield Bad Company 2 for a dollar off of Origin. If FarCry 3 gets a good slash in price (50-75%, hopefully more) I'll grab it too.
