Looking to build my kid a starter gaming PC, He is 8 and wanting to play some older games.. Looking for little older parts for the rig, That way if (when) he tears it up it want hurt as bad :)

Would u take a complete dual core Pentium D PC with a 9800GT video card?

You might want to consider an AMD APU set-up. That might be your best bet in this budget.
 
I have an older pentium chip, board, + memory if your interested. Id have to dig it up to get specific specs for it but figured id see if youd be interested in something that old or not before I did.


Its an Asus P85-E board. Id have to take off the heatsink or set it up and run it to double check the processor for you. If yoru interested let me know and I can get the processor info for you in a short time.

It owuld come with 4g of ram.
 
humm.. Guess it got a few options :) Let me run it them all over with the ol'lady and find out :D
