I looked at the 1TB EVO and it is $509!! I just paid $579 for it a few weeks ago...
 
$290 for the 512GB version isn't bad.

I need to swap out my HDD for an SSD in my MBP. Will likely jump on a BF deal for it.

Lame. They still advertise the deal on their website, but it's actually dead. This is (one of the reasons) why I hate NE.
 
Sounds like they were taking bigger losses than they thought. These codes are probably set to expire once a certain threshold of "amount saved" has been passed.

I was finally eligible for this code, and it was dead as soon as I got the email. Shopping with Newegg does nothing but continuously piss me off anymore.

If they're gonna waste my time with this shit, then I'm gonna bitch to customer service constantly for a month straight and waste their time. Fuck them :mad:
 
yup seriously screw newegg! i got the stupid spam from them and tried to use the code and it says its invalid POS! waste my time.
 
I have 3x of the 1TB drives for sale if anyone wants. See my FS thread. I got these in an earlier promo, but it tends to die quick.
