Hey Gents,

Below was where I was ranked on the site, I have made some hardware upgrades and set up the new client that I downloaded from stanford.stanford.edu and got my passkey and put in my old username and team 33, but my question is will my new points add to my old previous points or am I starting from scratch again? Below is my old tag and rank.

Yes, as long as the passkey you use is the same as before the points will continue to rack up.

Uhhhhh I have no idea if the key is the same as before, I don't recall using a key before with the previous client...Just username and team number...

We were talking about this in IRC this morning. You must have had a passkey - 9.5M point in 2700 WU is an average of around 3500 points/WU, which I don't think you can do on non-QRB units. Passkeys are tied to a username and email address. If you have the same email address you did when you originally got a passkey, you were just resent your original passkey. If your email address is new, you would have received a new passkey. Either is just fine, other than having to process 10 WUs with no bonus if the passkey is really new. As long as your username and team stay the same, any points you get from here forward will add on to what you had.
