Is there any way to use a 68-pin SCSI hard drive with a motherboard that has a 50-pin SCSI connector? I can't seem to find very many 50-pin SCSI hard drives.
I have a male 50 pin to male 68 pin adapter that goes between the drive's 68 pin female connector and the cable's female 50 pin connector. I've tried all sorts of jumper combinations and I can not get the drive to be detected. I've even tried a second drive of the same model number with the same results.
