Corsair Obsidian Series 900D Super Tower Case Review @ [H]

I did read the whole review, I just disagree with some your views. It will get great reviews around the net because most review sites are shilled out and/or need to keep sponsors happy.

I had access to one but my boss got it first. I've just looked and poked at it a bit and yeah have not used it at all or built a system into it yet. But he thinks it's pretty good..not awesome..but pretty good. Maybe I'll feel different about it once I use it.

I'm curious how you managed to "have access to one" before it is available to anyone but a reviewer that had one specifically sent to it by Corsair?

Some units were sent to select high-end system integrators such as Digital Storm, Maingear, Origin PC, etc. Maybe he works for one of them?

I still prefer the design of the 800D. They got it just right with the 800D.

Already got mine from Amazon, but Newegg is showing as having some in stock now.

Walked into the Tustin Micro Center and purchased mine a few days ago. They had 4 in stock.

I've had mine for a few days, Haven't got my full water cooled build in it yet. But my only complaint so far are a couple screws that were screwed in by the hulk or something. (A couple of the screws on the bottom doors, holding the shroud over the vent grille) Tried every screwdriver I own. They are stripped to all hell now. Gonna pick up some rubber bands and try that trick. Otherwise it's time for more drastic measures.

I picked up the 900d for a new build. Massive case.

And yeah, to the guy thats having problems with the screws on the bottom panels. Same here. The reason is they are tight is you have to loosen and rotate all the screws then remove the corners first. Then the rest. That panel is so long that if you take out the screws the last few are impossible to remove due to the panel putting ungodly pressure on the heads of those final screws.

I stripped the head off the last screw and have to ask for a replacement now.

Well I did it. I bought one! :D Gonna miss my ATSC 840 *sniff :(

Thanks for the review
