T-Mobile for iPad

Does anyone have experience with tablets on T-Mobile?

I was shopping today for a Wi-Fi iPad until I saw that you can get 200MB per month free with T-Mobile. Seems like just enough bandwidth to watch for important messages in Gmail while on the go.

Is this a smart move? A regular iPad mini for T-Mobile is well under $500. To me that sounds like a fair deal for a free monthly trickle of mobile data.

Any thoughts or opinions about that are appreciated.

I imagine it would depend on where you live. Also, iPads are unlocked so if you're unhappy you can switch carriers.
