Anyone have this issue?

My PC goes to sleep and won't wake up. Keyboard, power button, even the red LED power button on the motherboard, won't wake it up. I have to flip the PSU to off for a minute, back on, then sometimes it'll come back by pressing the power button many times. So weird. Doesn't happen every time either, often it wakes up from sleep just fine with the keyboard.

I've had other similar issues, like it going to sleep suddenly, but fixed those by disabling C6 and C7 sleep modes.

Just throwing out ideas but do you have hybrid sleep mode enabled? On my gigabyte z87, my computer would BSOD whenever I woke it from sleep if I had hybrid sleep mode on.

Swapped the new Seasonic 650RM PSU for a CX400 and the problem hasn't occurred.

common problem with low quality PSUs.

Unusual to see it in a Seasonic however, they are exceptional quality..

They make a lot of Corsairs PSUs, maybe even your CX400

I have EXACTLY this problem with the "wake up" not working. Have been tearing my hair out and also suspect it's something to do with sleep mode. Did you ever work out a final solution or was the PSU the main issue? I also have a Seasonic as well.

Yes, i switched to a Corsair CX500M and the problems are gone. My Seasonic RMA is back but havent tried it yet.

Did you disable C6 and C7 sleep modes? That worked for a while.

So I JUST bought a SeaSonic G-450M (SSR-450RM) for my HTPC (needed a modular one.)

Has it been confirmed there are sleep issues here? SeaSonic lists this PSU a fully Haswell / sleep compatible and I cannot remember seeing any reviewers talk about any sleep issues whatsoever.

I need to know if I need to return this thing an wait for a Corsair RM450...

Asus boards and Seasonic power supplies have had problems together for years. Asus refuses to acknowledge the issue though. The problems always involve Asus boards combined with SeaSonic P/S and sleep/hibernate functions. Have them both on P67 and Z68 boards as well.

My Seasonic started out with no issues, then over 3 weeks eventually progressed to being pretty much dead. That's not the behavior of an incompatibility, it's was probably just a bad unit. So I would try it.

When I get a chance I'll install the RMA'd Seasonic to see if it has the same issue.

Any word? I've got an Asus Z87 Pro with sleep issues, as well.

(This is the SECOND Asus mobo with sleep issues. My other one is an AMD mobo.)

Thanks,
Ken
