Anyone happen to have any STEAM tradable coupons I could use towards the new Shadow Warrior?
(STEAM = EvilJuggalo84)

I have a 15m (just shy of 50') cable... Cat5e, has connectors already. From eBay for something that didn't pan out. I know it's a little shorter than you're looking for but if you want it LMK.

Does anyone have a "dumb" phone? My daughter Pantech Jest 2 decided it's going to start screwing up a few months before the upgrade date. She really wants something similar or better, but I don't want to start paying for a data plan for her.

That looks like a feature phone to me ;)

dumbphone = $15 samsung flip tracfone at the gas station
feature phone = has a keyboard or other nifty features but not fancy enough to have eg android
smartphone = android, ios, blackberry, etc (well, intelligence of a blackberry is HIGHLY debatable, trust me, Mom has had 3 so far...)

I have a Pantech Impact but it's GSM so if you're on Sprint or Verizon it won't work. (I'm on AT&T.) It's well-used but functional, and it's carrier unlocked (AT&T is nice, they unlock your phone when you get your free upgrade, so if you want to dump 'em you can)... no serious damage to it -- some wear and tear to the paint job (to say the least) and IIRC one dent in the outside screen that doesn't affect anything, but that's it. It's not like my older nokia that had a yellowed cardboard '1' button till I threw it out. Pantechs are not bad as far as basic phones go... I have a Pantech Link now myself and it serves me well.

Yes, on Verizon. I guess "feature" phone is what I need then...

Sorry I can't help... like I said, all my phones are ATT which is incompatible network wise. But you knew that :p

The only exception is a Sprint phone from like 2001 that AFAIK no longer exists. It didn't work very well anyways...

Looking for a DC-in jack cable for a Mini-ITX "external" power supply. My supply uses that bigass weird 3pin connector (sorta like a gigantic ersatz fan connector, if you squint really hard) with the middle pin unused -- trouble is the cable they supply is not panel mount and I need one that is... my supply is an nMediaPC model 1080iP. Don't know the plug size offhand but since it's one of the "universal" ones I'd say it's most likely 5.5mm * 2.5mm.

Does anyone have a USB to micro SDHC adapter? (The ones that look like a flash drive, I already have my own Micro SD card)
Thanks

Something like this?

I have two IDE CD-RW drives (Plextor!) and a PCI NIC.

Plextor CD-RW -- PX-W8432Ti -- PlexWriter 8/4/32 -- beige bezel -- untested
Plextor CD-RW -- PX-W4824TA -- PlexWriter 48/24/48A -- beige bezel -- known good
Intel NIC -- PILA8465B -- EtherExpress Pro/100B -- S82555/S82557 chipset -- untested

The NIC does not have driver support above XP, which is why it's untested... I got it from a friend not knowing its driver support, to help another friend who had a Vista system. (That friend wound up getting his NIC through other means.) That's life, I guess :/

One other thing. Does anyone have 2x 1gb DDR1 sticks (for a desktop)...? I've got a P4 board from a Compaq that's about to have XP shoved up its ass and I know from experience that 1gb RAM is not enough. Of course they only put two RAM slots on it...

Gotta have the RAM in my hands on or before Wednesday. I'm prepared to pay for USPS Priority here and for once I can afford it. LOL.

I could use some DDR2-4300 desktop memory for my 75+ year-old neighbor's PC. I had to work on it this weekend and that thing crawls! It currently has 512MB. I'd like to double that at the very least, but if someone had one or two 1GB sticks, that would be superb.

imyourzero, can the computer support a 2gb stick? I should be able to help either way.

Hey man, I know it's been a while and I more or less forgot about this...until today. She called me to come work on that rig again because it was slow and needed a new mouse, and after I massaged it a bit through defragging and temp file cleaning I straight up told her that that's about as fast as it was gonna get without adding some memory or going to a faster drive. I'd like to bump her RAM up first and see how much that helps before I try to source a VelociRaptor or cheap SSD.

So, the computer currently uses PC2-4200 or PC2-4300 but obviously PC2-5300 should work, too. I'm going to scour back through this thread as I believe I've seen some offered, but if anyone could spare a couple of 1GB sticks, that would make a noticeable difference on this PC and we'd both be grateful. I do not know if it can support 2GB sticks...unfortunately I didn't get the model of the motherboard but I do know it's an AMD Sempron system with onboard nVidia 6150LE graphics, if that helps at all.

For those of you who will only give to those who have given, I've contributed several things in this thread for free or the cost of shipping and besides that, this isn't even for me...it's for a wonderful little old lady who is funny and sharp as a tack despite her age. :)

...now I don't have DDR2 to spare that's over 512mb IIRC. Might have a 1gb stick somewhere, I'll have to look.

:(

I have some 1GB sticks, but they are PC2-6400. LMK if that might work for you.

I have three unmatched, untested sticks of 1gb DDR2...

Samsung M378T2953EZ3-CE6 (PC2-5300)
Crucial-stickered Micron MT8HTF12864AY-800G1 (PC2-6400)
Kingston ValueRAM KVR800D2NS/1G (PC2-6400, low profile)

LMK if you can use 'em, imyourzero...

Thanks, fellas. I don't see why PC2-6400 wouldn't work, and just downclock itself. IIRC, you two + 404 all offered to help with this before. Let me see what 404 has to offer and then I'll get with one of you to see what might work best. Paging 404...

Definitely appreciate the offers so far!

BTW, I still have that external 3.5" SATA WD enclosure for anyone who might be interested...as well as a few SATA hard drives left (mostly 80GB).

imyourzero, if you have two 1gb sticks of desktop ddr1, and will mail them to me Priority, I'll send you all three RAM sticks I've got for you, at my cost. Your choice of Priority or First Class for your RAM ;)

I'll Czech, but I'd be very surprised if I had any 1GB sticks...I know that I have some DDR, but I remember it being primarily 256MB or 512MB in capacity. I'll take a look.

I have a matched pair of 1 gig. Corsair 5400s. I could use that external Sata enclosure.
Let me know.

I have a degraded RAID situation here, need a WD2500JD-00GBB00

I would pay a little for this item, thanks guys

Anyone have a stick of DDR3 SODIMM at least PC3-10600? I have a stick of PC3-8500 but it's not letting the laptop boot and I don't know if it's a speed issue or something else.
