Rockstar has released the third of three game trailers prior to the official release of GTA 5 and presumingly their last before the September 17th premier. Just a gentle reminder from Rockstar that the long wait is just about over.

day one purchase for me when it hits PC -- happy to pay full retail price too.

I Have an xbox360... somewhere. it's in a case and probably covered with dust since I Haven't turned it on for months.

Unless you have money falling out your ass, or are just THAT in love with the series, why would you buy this for console when the next gen systems are coming out within 90 days?

Uh you do know that GTA V has no planned release for the next gen right? Only current gen is getting it. So unless Rockstar wants to port it, then there won't be a next gen release, at all.

well that video was completely unnecessary except perhaps to further hype the game.

Do you really believe that? They'll likely release the port with the PC when sales start to slow for current gen. It's likely a strategy of not announcing as to not hurt current gen sales. A lot of fans will rebuy the title. Thus giving them multiple sales for the same title.

Uh because GTA title... New Rockstar title. It might be 6-12 more months until a PC version hits if ever. So have fun waiting.

$60 isn't going to put me underwater financially, and not sure what it has to do with "next gen consoles coming out in 90 days" when this title won't be available for them. Do x360 and PS3 stop functioning on the day new consoles release?

I'm hoping for this as well, I already sold my 360, and I'm just gonna wait for this game either for the PC or the next gen consoles

I don't know, I'm kind of worn on the GTA concept. It has been in most cases, quite the same since 3. Steal cars, drive here, do this, deliver that, cutscene, rinse, repeat. Sure there are sidegames or achievements but it's the same thing over and over -- a single player MMO if you will.

I will probably end up waiting till I can get it when it's under $10 for the game + all DLC :(

The statement of the the next gen consoles is those who upgrade will not be able to play since, as of now, the next gen consoles are NOT backwards compatible. I for one am upgrading, so GTA V will not be purchased till either PC or PS4 release.

PS3 titles will transfer over to PS4 digitally.

PS4 is going to be backward compatible with the PS3?
I assume it won't be. It's a vastly different architecture, the PS3 being Cell based and the PS4 being x86 based, it would require either PS3 hardware in the PS4, or a very sophisticated emulator that would never work 100%.

Which brings me to my next question how the hell is the ps3 version going to digitally transfer to the PS4 version? Surely you buy one copy on one system you don't get it for free for another... and yes I did call you Shirley.

Question is which version (of the consoles versions) will be better. The PS3 has the storage for much higher resolution textures but it runs native at 720p. The Xbox will have an install disk but will run at 1080p (scaled).

Guess I'll wait. But I'm not waiting 6 months for a PC version. I'll wait a year or so for the PC version because that'll give it time for some kick ass mods to come into the scene.

GTA 5 trailer teases with arguments?...that's what I look for in a good game- some really nice arguing

This is a day one buy for me. I have a blast playing online with my friends. Waiting for next gen isnt a possibility. How long has this game been in the making anyways?

Does anyone remember when gta 4 came to pc? It played like shit. Id rather keep my ps3, buy this years games for it, play till next year then retire it as a blu ray player in August when I buy a ps4 and madden 15.

I'm in the same boat. I sold My 360 last month while it was still worth something. I hope it comes for PC within 6 months.
