Origin blowout sale on PC Downloads!

thanks op as it gave me a good excuse to get that Dead Space 3 story dlc.

and lol at the nutjobs still refusing to use Origin

I should probably bite on Dead Space 2 now for $8 but I won't get to it for a year I'm sure. I think I owe it to EA after the humble bundle.

Dead Space 2 is the likely type of game that will make you finish it if you do start it though. most games I start and play for a bit and maybe never come back. Dead Space 2 is the only other game besides Borderlands that have actually replayed.

What do you mean lack DLC? DLC is purchased through the use of BioWare points for these games.

He means if these packs come with all, or even any, DLC. Lots of versions of DA1 and ME1/2 that come with all the DLC now. Getting the DLC separately for these two games bumps up the price to practically a new game.

yeah the whole Mass Effect DLC thing pisses me off. I like to have all single player content for games I like but no way am I buying it for those prices. they would have made more money by offering DLC in the same way as other publishers.

In for Tomb Raider. Thanks OP. ^^ Had most of the other's.

Anyone know why The Sims rape you when it comes to dlc. I just can't believe that The Sims sells enough dlc to justify the pricing. My girl started to play the vanilla I got with humble bundle and now wants a few of them. I guess most people just start pay it anyways. It's crazy as it all adds up very fast.

This is a great deal, but are these games worth getting into and investing the hours? I already have BF3 and Mirror's Edge.

ME3 is worth it, and I agree they should just discount the DLC five months later now. The Citadel DLC is pricey at $15 but there is a PvE arena and access to all living squadmates, and it's a time to try all the crazy gun combos (fast sniper rifle, slow pistols with scopes, etc.). I put 5 hours into that and there's a love letter to the fans.

I hear Omega isn't worth it at all and is buggy.

I bought DS2 the other day for $8.00 Been playing Dead Space 1 since buying it from the hbundle and I'm on chapter 6 now. I really am enjoying the game. Good scary immersion. I will play through the whole series and enjoy the ride

Not seeing Defiance on sale. Everything else looks to be on sale, though.

Believe it or not plenty of people are willing to pay the price man. My girlfriend has The base game plus every single expansion/stuff pack/several worlds/and a ton of stuff from the Sim store... You're very right when you say it adds up very quickly (especially when you have to occasionally pay the pre-order price to ensure your girl gets all the goodies)... We're talking 10 expansions ($40 a pop at pre-order price), 8 or so stuff packs ($20 each) and god know how many sim points for worlds (sometimes $40+ per world) and toys.

You know what though... I've NEVER complained once! She knows exactly how much we spend on her Sims game so when I drop $100 during the Steam sale or decide I absolutely MUST have that new mechanical keyboard that's calling my name, she doesn't bat an eye. I consider the trade more than fair. :D

Went to check my good old Australian store...
Annnnnd I'm not buying anything. (everything is basically twice the price of that list. Simcity even is $55.99)

No discount for middle eastern people too. We get euro website despite that the majority of our currencies are paired with the dollar... Sigh.
