EA is having a nice sale on titles from their Origin service. There are some really great deals to be had!

Mass Effect Trilogy is $20.
Mass Effect 3 is $6.
Defiance is $5.
The Secret World is $15.
Sim City is $30. (new one)
Warp is $3.
BF3 is $6 but you should buy it from www.humblebundle.com instead and help charity.
BF3 Premium is $15. BF3 + Premium is $20.
Crysis 3 is $20.
Far Cry 3 is $20.
NFS Most Wanted is $14.
Tomb Raider $16.
Dead Space3 should be bought on www.humblebundle.com.
NFS The Run is $6.
Sleeping Dogs is $8.50.
Hitman Absolution is $14.
Dragon Age Ultimate Edition is $12.

I highly recommend The Secret World. No subscription and this MMO is so good!
Defiance is a really nicely paced Third Person Shooter / MMO. Definitely worth the $5 as it doesn't have a subscription.
Sleeping Dogs is a great game; think if Batman met Grand Theft Auto.
Dragon Age Origins is a timeless classic.
Mass Effect 3 is awesome too!

If you bought the Humble Bundle, I'd at least wait a day or two to see what bonus titles get added before jumping on any of these.
 
So what is the status on: Mass Effect 3 & Dragon Age II
Do they still lack the DLC?
 
Dragon Age is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than Dragon Age 2. I liked Mass Effect 3, but the other two were better. 1 is better than 2, 2 is better than 3. I would say the trilogy is worth it.

I want to get Tomb Raider, but I don't really want to have to use Origin!
 
Dragon Age Origins IS a timeless classic. It's the only game in years I've played through three times over. I think it's become, I hesitate to state, my favorite game ever in my 24 years of PC gaming.

Dragon Age 2 has a massive hate bandwagon following it, but I didn't think it was really that bad. The gameplay was watered down and the plot disjointed, but some of the story elements, the dialog was really enjoyable. The main reason it's such a detestable game is because the quality is noticably worse than the first and content vastly reduced (read: it was a rushed game sitting on the laurals of it's predecessor) Worth $8 if you liked DAO, IMO.
 
For those that use Origin and still give money to EA, BF3/Prem, Mass Effect/Tri, TR, FC3, and Dragon Age Ult Ed are pretty sweet deals. I highly recommend the Mass Effect series as well as FC3 for those that haven't gotten them yet.



As for me: Origin DD service by EA? No thanks. The only Origin I know of made awesome games like the Ultima, Wing Commander, and Crusader series plus, one of my favorite games of all time, Autoduel. Fuck you EA for screweing up and killing off the most legendary gaming software company to ever exist and for fucking over the company's creator and all the employees. Yes, it's been 9 years since OSI was disbanded by EA, but I'm still very bitter about it...and I will be to no end.

There is no way to buy ME:3 with all the dlc still. You can buy the game $6 (or the digital deluxe for $15 that has the from ashes dlc) then proceed to the spend $45 on the 3 dlc expansions that never goes on sale. Basically to get the complete game, it still costs $60.

Gotta remember this when I get home. Been wanting to give Tomb Raider a try and at $16 it's hard to go wrong.

No problems, played through it again several months back on 7x64.

Wow, some great deals...probably pick up Defiance and see what I can get DS3 for on humble bundle.

It's not Origin that's really the problem... it's the people (read: decision makers) at the company that operates Origin. The same people that are severely redic.

Tempted on Defiance, but I played the free weekend awhile back and I'm just not sure I'd ever really play it much.

The worst crashes in Need for Speed The Run are the ones that took me straight to the desktop.

that game was pretty buggy, checkpoint saves suck when the game would crash right before saving.
