I recently purchased an HP Envy 15 TouchSmart laptop. It has only single 3.5 MM port with sign of headphone in it. When i read the manuals I doscovered that its an "Audio-out (headphone) jack/Audioin" to which I can connect optional powered stereo speakers, headphones, earbuds, a headset, or a television audio cable. Also connects an optional headset microphone. This jack does not support optional microphone-only
devices.

Now does Corsair consist of a wired headphone which can fit in this laptop? Or in other words does Corsair consists of a headset that has microphone and headphone jack in one? Because the the device cable should have a 4-conductor connector that supports both audio-out (headphone) and audio-in (microphone) in order to work.

i dont know corsair models, but if you look for mobile or macbook compatible headsets, it will work, since cell phones and macbooks use that jack as well.

if not, you can get an adapter easily enough.

Yes Corsair 1500 has USB input. Although its expensive. But if it is worth I can spend my money on it. What advantage USB headsets hold?
