I'm upgrading my system, and so I need a new waterblock.

I currently have a DTek Fuzion v2 mounted on an LGA 775 (p35) socket motherboard. First off THIS exists. It is a mounting bracket to make my current DTek Fuzion block work on socket 1155 motherboards, which means it should also work on 1150 Haswell boards.

Should I just do this? Buy this bracket? Will it be sufficient to reuse my existing block on a new Haswell motherboard based system?

Or should I look at a new waterblock? If so, where are the places to buy them these days? I haven't bought anything computer related in a long time (5 years!), other than an off-the-shelf video card from BestBuy. So I'm completely out of the loop of the specialty market.

What are the preferred shopping sites? What are the preferred brands?

I'd just get the adaptor. The Fuzion isn't a bad block.

Don't buy EK.

Semi-necro!

Just wanted to say that SVC seems to be a little-known site, but I've made multiple purchases there throughout the years. I've always had speedy service and the prices are very competitive! So, bump for them!

Thanks for posting that link, I think Im going to re-use my Dtek as well , only downside is compression fittings won't fit, but I supposed I can deal with that to save $100. :)
