I'm trying my first mini-itx build. The case is PC-Q07 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112394

This will be not only my first mini-ITX but my first hackintosh

I can't decide what videocard to buy because I'm not sure what would fit in it. Do you guys have any suggestions? What's the most powerful GPU I can get in this case?
these are the rest of the parts:

PSU Corsair 430W
2 x 4 GB ram
Gigabyte H77N
3770k IVY cooled by http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186084
Samsung 830 SSD

Go to Tony, choose a recommended card fitting maximum size and have fun.

Regarding cooling - your CPU cooler is much too big for the case. Or do you want to place the PSU outside the case? If not, refer to Prolimatech Samuel 17, Scythe Shuriken (Big Shuriken maybe but I'm not sure of the size right now) or Noctua NH-L9i Low Profile, though I don't know their cooling abilities for an (overclocked?) 3770k in such a small case. You really have to take care of the clearance between PSU and CPU in these small cases, which is a bout 6-8cm I think.
If you place PSU fan showing towards CPU remember to set CPU fan to pushing hot air into the PSU. From my experience and talks in several forums this is the setting of choice regarding temperatures.

Without mods, the PC-Q07 is a very limited case. For example, you only get 1 PCI Slot vent.
Your best bet is with a 650 or 7770 (single slot)

Why not go for the PC-Q11B? Or the Prodigy?

Ty for your input. Ye's I know the cooler is too tall but I was planning to modd it. Users have been doing it successfully so I I'll give it a try.

I got a very good deal on the case (75% off what the other 2 cases would cost) and while I'm trying to build a decent rig, price is of great concern.

Ya, I figured 650 is the best bet or I was thinking a 660 zotac and mod it (not sure if is worth the trouble tho)
Do you think a 650 would gimp the CPU or is 650 really worth investing in?

Awesome. It's great that you have a budget. Some people spend way too much for what they don't need.

Your 3770k is a beast CPU, the only reason for getting the 650 is because its fully supported by Hackintosh.

For what its worth, the 650 is comparable to console graphics performance (360, PS3), fine if you are running 720p
