If you have the money, get three Titans. While the 780s can overclock to Titan speeds, the Titans will overclock obliviously higher than what the 780s can do. If I were you, it would be cheaper to get 2 GTX 690's.
Yeah but the 690's only have 2GB Frame buffer and at that res it will totally be insufficient.
Nothing beats the 6GB of VRAM on the TITAN. It was the only configuration that allowed us to play the latest games at 8X MSAA at 5760x1200. It also ensured that we were able to maximize all the in-game quality settings without it bottlenecking the VRAM. However, there are signs that even 6GB of VRAM might not be enough in a 3-way+ GPU setu
Let's see the price/performance ratio...
1) Price
(i) 3 X Titan = 3,150 + tax
(ii) 3 X 780 = 1,950 + tax
Difference of $1,200 + tax
2) Performance
I suspect that 3GB might not be enough for some games.

You get to use the full 4GB on the card. That's one of the benefits of the 2in1 cards. If you had 2 680's that would be a different story.
