Hi,

I don't have the ability to create a graphic like this yet,
but could someone, who has good experiences with that,
recreate the background, the scale, the needle and the center button (hub)
as separate graphics (with transparence) for me please?

I need this for creating Windows Widgets.
When finished, we have a set of system monitorung gauges for:

• CPU
• RAM
• Swap
• Up- & Download
• Storage devives (SDD, HDD, USB key, etc)
• and Temperatures

Thank you!
:)

@ mullet

That's rather cool, thanks!

A good looking gauge. Something is funny with the hub, can't really say what exactly. Maybe some tiny shadow missing on the needle. Great background, great frame around the gauge, maybe a little bit too thick. Your idea to change the marks from green over to yellow and red is great! But the problem is the amount of marks, there are 24. Sorry I didn't mention this before, but ideally the scale contains of 51 marks. One for zero and the other 50 for 1% to 100% (each mark equals 2%).

Other than that ...

hope it works, next time give ALL of the specifics.

Hi mullet,

please, one more thing and it's perfect.

Your scale starts at a quater to noon and stops at a quater past.
But it looked more realistic if the scale starts at around 22 to noon and stops at 22 past.

Round about like the white marks for zero (left) and 100% (right).
Would that be still possible please?

Sorry about that.

@ mullet & all

The widgets are ready for download > click
In order to run xwidgets, you need the xwidget engine > click

We've decided to leave away gauges for up & download and for temperatures due to some minor problems which should be fixed in one of the following updates of the xwidget engine.

Special thanks to mullet for supplying the graphics :)

I would incorporate larger and/or longer tick marks at the points on the scale corresponding to the numbered increments: marked at 10, 20, 30...80, 90... 0 and 100 perhaps can be left alone. If the size of the mark cannot be changed, then perhaps use a thin black line through the longest axis of the mark.
