Capcom and Dontnod entertainment are proud to announce Remember Me, a brand new action adventure title for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Neo-Paris, 2084. Take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people's minds and steal or even alter their memories. Arrested, and with her memory wiped clean Nilin must now set out on a mission to rediscover her identity.

Combat style reminds me of Oni.

I have a lot of dontnod wallpapers. It's cool stuff, consider me excited for this. I also loved Oni.

As I much as I like what I see, I am worried about Capcom ruining everything with their usual attitude...

Steam pre-order is up:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/228300?snr=1_41_4__42

Awesome pre-order DLC incentive:

Pre-purchase now and get the combo lab pack for free. Includes 3 exclusive Pressen fighting moves

  • Flash Kick
  • Spinning Bird Kick
  • Dragon Punch

Capcom is becoming more retarded by the year, in the not too distant future all the standard character moves in street fighter will be pre-order DLC. Pray to god that Capcom never merges with EA, because that would surely spawn the anti-christ of gaming.

I was thinking about pre-ordering his game, but with those pre-order "bonuses" I think I'll wait.

As usually, these companies are making us wait for the GOTY

I just got it today. Pretty fucking awesome so far and the graphics are absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe that this is Unreal Engine 3 stuff here honestly. Makes games like Infinite looks like complete shit in comparison.

The controls are tight and responsive...fighting is very much like the new Batman games...simplistic but engaging and it definitely keeps you on your toes (or finger tips?).

Voice acting has been surprisingly good so far...nothing to write home about but certainly seems to be a step up considering that it isn't some massive AAA title as most "cheaper" games usually fail in this aspect.

Story line is interesting so far. Just got done with my first run in with the security guards so I'm not that far in at all, however, it's certainly got me going forward. Unfortunately the premise behind it is pretty average though. Corrupt government/corporation doing stuff they shouldn't be so as a freedom fighter/revolutionist you must stop them/it. Still, it's in a interesting environment and the game play itself so far is top notch so I can excuse the less than original story basis.

Over all really enjoying it so far...it is certainly a system pusher for sure. Playing at 2048x1536 with max settings and AA I'm only getting ~30 fps. Don't know if this is due to poor drivers or what but having said that it might actually just be the graphics, they really do look purty.

Either way, I'll come back in a bit and give some more impressions, so far it's really good though. Also the memory rewinding/rewriting thing is super cool and complex. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it, must have been a programming nightmare though!

The reviews rate between 6-7ish I'll wait for an awesome steam deal

I wouldn't put all my trust in reviews though as many a game in the past has gotten praise to high Heaven and I thought it sucked and vice versa. From what I've played so far I would certainly give it higher than a 6 or 7.

I am interested in the game but I don't have the spare money to risk $50 on an unproven developer who didn't respond to my email of questions and didn't put out a demo. Down the road maybe.

really? lame excuse to justify not buying a game.

More like.. Waiting for steam sale.. Which would probably be more accurate.

Never said I'm not buying it, just that I wasn't pre-ordering it. You quoted a post from April.

The mouse is messed up. There is definitely mouse acceleration and no way to turn it off. Also if you move the mouse slowly it kind of jumps. Same exact problem that had to be patched in Resident Evil Revelations. I would not buy it yet

Bought because I figured, hell, there's not enough new IPs out there and might as well give a new developer some cash.

Enjoying it quite a bit so far. Game looks great for being UE3 but you can see the dating on it. Picture this as a mixture of Deus Ex and Mirror's Edge + Arkham combat.

Great stuff! Not sure where some of these reviewers are getting these really low scores from. Assume it might look like shite on consoles perhaps.

not a lame excuse. DLC is a revenue stream and as such I'll wait until they offer the whole combo for much less than the price of the game without the DLC...

Loving the game so far. Combat and platforming work very well...don't know where these reviews that are bashing these aspects are coming from. Graphics are incredible as well! Lighting and textures are top notch. Audio is beautiful, whether on my surround or my headphones the dev's have definitely done their research in this area.

The level design is quite spacious for some parts, however it's very limited in what you can and can't do. IE it's pretty damned linear.

I think of this as a more fleshed out Mirror's Edge. Personally, I have 0 problems with this game but if they manage to combine this type of engine and artwork with Assassins' Creed open world.... boy, that would be something else.

Just picked this one up and put about an hour in..So far so good..Story is interesting, gameplay is okay if not a little clunky and graphics are pretty good especially for UE3..Lots of potential.

that's a real bummer as it looks really nice

Don't let that discourage you.I take most reviews with a grain of salt..For example, how linear are COD,GOW and Halo?? They still get stellar reviews because its all about the money..The "smaller" titles get panned for the same stuff the "bigger" games are praised for. Sometimes you just gotta see for yourself..So far, I am enjoying the game overall.

The game is ridiculously linear. It makes the new Tomb Raider feel like an open world game. There's barely any interaction with the environment. It's 95% static.

I consider it a corridor runner with fighting thrown in every X minutes. I could see it working as an arcade game. That being said, it's not bad. The coolest thing about it IMO is the music during the fighting. When you nail a combo it dynamically changes the music which is extremely awesome.
