I guess that happened when the something crashed when i posted, I love it already! Had it since 4th of december! :)
Why waste so much space with an ATX setup, when you're only going to have one graphics card? :)

I agree :) i use a OLDER lga775 with a Q6600 Quad core and 4 gigs ram. Has a Nvidea graphix card in it so i can do my Dual 23" lcds with a 60gig ssd and it runs awesome!

Little thing just works hard and nicely.

Someday ill buy a new Shuttle box and put in a I5 and more goodies, but for now this thing just works awesome..

my vulcan build, but I recently found an HP slimline case as well so I will be trying to slowly part that together!

Lots of nice looking setups!! I'm looking into doing another one next month, so many choices.

Does this count?

Going on about 6 months of using the XBox 360 PSU as a full time dedicated GPU Power Supply and it's still going strong.

I suppose I didn't really try to manage anything, but I think non-modular would have looked tidier.

The back of the 660TI tight flush against the rad/tubing of the H60. Good thing its just a plastic fan shroud.

Thank you Wisk, i think im getting already bored with it :D Have some great ideas for next build..

increíble. It is nothing that could have been anywhere, but you have made it with your superior craftsmanship displayed with this marvelous build. Is it Kaze Master? Why didnt you use the thermal sensors?

Thank you man, my attempt was to make it nice and unique ;)

It's actually Lamptron FC5, silver and i painted the bezel black. I didn't use sensors, couse i have no smart places for tehem, since allmost every component has its own sensor.

Its really nice controller btw. my pump is also attached to it and runs nice.

I am joining you guys soon. I just picked up the ASUS P8Z77-I. I have the 3570 and 16GB of RAM already. Looking at the Bitfenix Prodigy and other stuff.

BTW, I'm still a Noob after 3 years :-P

This is amazing.
Got the case and thinking about watering it. GTX 670 is what I want. Probably gonna wait for haswell but otherwise it's the same spec.
Though my case is red so the water will be red. And my modding skills are pretty bad so never going to look this good.

Where are you hard drives? And did you mod your PSU to let the cables exit on the side or is that just the perspective?

HDD is under the motherboard, getting some airflow from the front fan and running at 27-32c depending on load. The PSU just had the opening widened up a little, the cable still come out the front.

The specs are very basic, it's just a HTPC for the 'rents. e3200 @ 2.7, 2gb DDR2, 8800gt with passive cooling.

Nice, looks really good. Is there a window on the other side, too? Would fit well so one could see the red cable sleeves in correspondence to the white case.

There isn't, yet. Can always add one if I get bored again :D

I do plan on upgrading the GPU at some point, either to my 5870 I'm using now or something that uses a little less power. Maybe a 7790.

Good point ;)
Do you remember where you got that red sleeve? Take it that you just put some primer and then paint on the PSU. I'm getting that sting in my fingers to build and mod something in case you're wondering... :D

The sleeve is paracord, I got it here http://wildelk.co.uk/blood-red-550-paracord.html

Used about 65 feet in total including some mess ups and a few extra little bits.

I took the PSU apart so I could cut open the gap for the cables a little more and mask everything off for painting. Otherwise it was primer x 2, main coat x 3 and clear lacquer x 3.

So my girlfriend moved in with me and I (my girlfriend:)) decided to downscale the number of machines that littered the living room from 3 to 1. I had my 3 year old large gaming pc which I used for everything but very little for gaming anymore. My media and download PC next to the television which is also ATX sized. And finally an old smaller system from work I used for some VMs when working from home.

So my wishlist for this build:
- Small with internal power supply (I hate external ones)
- Not to expensive
- Not to loud since its in the living room.
- Not to much power usage since I want to use it for DNLA media stream and downloading. So it will be on most of the time.
- Able to play some games like CODMW3, Skyrim and Far Cry 3.
- Able to run my VMs.

So I found this build here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mini-itx-gaming-radeon-hd-7750,3369.html and decided to use this as base. However I used the following components:

AMD Athlon II X4 740 Boxed
MSI FM2-A75IA-E53
Sapphire 7750 1GB GDDR5 Low Profile
Seagate Momentus ST95005620AS, 500GB
Chieftec FI-01BScythe Kozuti 40mm Super-Low Profile
Fractal Design Silent R2, 140mm
GeIL Black Dragon GB38GB1333C9DC
Seasonic SS-300TFX Active PFC

I chose the AMD processor because it was a bit cheaper and is a true quadcore which I think is a bit better for my VMs and of course gaming. Also 8 gigs of ram for my VMs. I chose the motherboard because of the wireless and bluetooth.

Since I didn't need an optical drive I removed all the mountings for this and added my own hardisk mount which can hold 2 2.5 inch drives. It currently only has the 500 GB momentus xt hybrid drive which I had laying around.

To make it quiet I installed a different power supply. The on that came with the case was very loud. The fan of the power supply is right on top of the graphics card and actually cools down the card enough under full load (80 degrees with Furmark running for an hour). So the graphics card fan is disabled. I also installed a 140 mm fan which sits right onto the motherboard in this small case. It actually cools it so wel that I also removed the fan from the Scythe Kozuti 40mm Super-Low Profile cooler. Under full load the CPU stays arround 55 degrees. So with 2 fans the system is pretty quied now.

When it comes to gaming it performs pretty well. Skyrim, Far Cry 3 and CODMW3 al run at 1080p with medium or high settings at 25 to 60 fps.

All in all I'm pretty happy with it so far:) And now ofcourse some pics:)

What did you do to cover the spots where the top handles were mounted? Or are you planning to mount them back on again? (I wouldn't, a Prodigy not looking like a Prodigy is always a big win imho)

Handles are off and will stay off. Where the first part I removed
The sidecover does a quite a good job on covering the Handles holes.
The sidecover itself is mounted on the threads the Handles left over... :D
